• Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Sets and implements rules of discipline in accordance to the schools policies and the principal’s directives.
• Ensures the safety of students while providing them with a care-giving and nurturing atmosphere.

Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experience:
• Undergraduate degree in Islamic Sciences or equivalent degree and/or experience.
• One to two years teaching experience.
• A willingness to share and portray Islamic mannerisms and way of living including modest Islamic dress code.
• Educational certification is a plus.
Technical Competencies and Skills:
• Must possess the ability to use technical skills in order to construct, implement and share lesson planning.
• Must possess the ability to use a computer for instructional and communication purposes with students,
parents and staff.
• Ability to use internet based search engines for educational research purposes.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Has excellent knowledge of Islamic Subjects and believes and acts according to the Islamic values taught to the

Operations Management

• Supervise all DUS staff members apart from staff who report directly to the Shura; staff and volunteers in the following departments and projects will report to the ED: Ansaar-ul-Birr, Building, Sooq, Aqabah Karate, DUS Youth, AHS Preschool, Qur’an Institute, Tooba University, Sacred Bond, AHSAN, Security, IT Department, Ramadan Program, and Zakat Foundation.
