Where the Chemistry Happens
This role leads a diverse and high performing group of Regulatory Managers and Technical Experts responsible for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and activities to achieve and maintain US Federal Registrations for new and existing conventional chemical and biological products. This team leader position will lead staff that will primarily support our US P&SS and Seed Treatment business units, along with the Crop Protection business.

The Team Leader provides regulatory guidance to the US and Global Regulatory and Business teams on best practices to achieve US EPA registration of BASF products. The Team Leader maintains knowledge of current US and international regulatory trends and represents BASF on Industry/Expert committees to ensure balanced and practical regulatory requirements.

As a chemicals supplier to almost all industries, BASF will establish a standalone subsidiary dedicated to its Mobile Emissions Catalysts, Precious Metals Trading, Recycling, and related Products and Services business. Creating sales orders and purchase orders in SAP for the shipment of all R&D Lab samples and supplies. Accountable to the Manager, Parental Seed Production, this position is responsible for the establishment, coordination and management of a parent seed production area, with a focus on meeting both yield and quality standards.

Formula for Success: You Will…
• Responsible for ensuring that production goals are met in their region for both yield and quality through identification and procurement of sites, organization and execution of seed production activities (site preparation, planting, spraying, volunteer control, roguing, crop inspection, pollination, harvest activities, site cleanup and all other required production activities), quality control, grower relations, and accurate record keeping.
• Perform and coordinate seed logistics activities to ensure accurate records and movement of seed which involves movement of seed used for planting, safe storage of seed following harvest, cleaning and sampling of seed, accurate record keeping and data entry and coordinating movement of seed to long term storage.
• Participate in contra season activities as required.
• Manage all resources to achieve all production goals and the effective operation of the program, including HR resources (contract of casual employees), equipment and inventory.
• Identify and provide recommendations to challenges facing production with the goal of continually improving in all areas – agronomist, location planning, field selection, grower and pollinator relations, logistics, quality management, etc.

Where the Chemistry Happens

As Communications Manager, you will lead communications in North America for the Regional Business Unit Intermediates (N-CIN) as a substantial part of the global Operating Division Intermediates (CI). You will advise the Communication and Sustainability Manager and the leadership team on strategic external and internal communications. Additionally, you will represent Chemical Intermediates in the BASF North America Communications community, coordinating with country and site communicators in North America, and liaising with the Global Chemicals Intermediates Communications team (CI/K) to ensure effective messaging.

As a Communications Manager you create chemistry by…
• Developing and supporting crisis communication plans, addressing key regional communication risks in coordination with relevant stakeholders in the countries and the communications function; you will also prepare and support your team in position papers, media responses as a part of issue management.
• Coordinate marketing communications, in close collaboration and partnership with Business Management, Global Chemical Intermediates Communications team inclusive of leading the development of marketing communications plans and budgets, its implementation and budget supervision.
• Driving effective and engaging internal communications; this includes driving concept and preparation of events, such as townhall meetings and coffee chats, as well as messages from leadership (written, digital/video, etc.); you will create and implement effective internal employee communications strategies to drive employee engagement and cultural change across Chemical Intermediates in North America, in partnership with the Chemical Intermediates Leadership Team.
