THE ROLE:

Bloomberg Media has an exciting role for an experienced creative strategist to join the newly- formed Bloomberg Live Experiences team. This individual will be responsible for leading the development of event product sales materials, strategic narratives and go-to-market strategy along with leading client proposal development creating aligned experiential ideas for B2B and B2C advertisers. This position will be based at Bloomberg’s New York headquarters and will include client-facing marketing support for the global sales team. In this role, we are looking for someone who is an experiential strategist and creative leader with a passion for uncovering “the big idea” to connect business objectives.

WE’LL TRUST YOU TO:
• Develop go-to-market strategy, positioning and sales materials for all Bloomberg Live Experience events, partnerships and initiatives.
• Create dynamic and compelling presentations that deliver new thinking, storytelling, and create “yes, and” moments utilizing research and data to articulate and support value propositions and positioning for events.
• Work with client leads, marketing, editorial and production to create relevant ideas and activations that meet prospective client objectives to close sponsorship deals
• Think on your feet and contribute new, unique ideas to both internal and external sessions including brainstorms, kick-off calls and team working sessions.
• Develop experience-driven strategy and direction based on client goals and objectives. Consults and supports sellers to create unique experiential activation concepts/ideas to win business.
• Actively help develop and integrate internal branding and marketing towards outward facing documents and PR efforts (including digital, social, award submissions, etc.).
• Be comfortable in a pitch scenario, presenting to senior-level (C-Suite) clients and prospects, working closely with our Media Sales team.
• Develop client brand strategies, customer journey maps, content strategies and experiential activation ideas along with sponsor benefit grids and pricing proposals for leadership review.
• Comfort with event production and estimating deal margin in partnership with production lead.
• Assist the sales team with relevant consumer insights, trends, and contribute to concepts for advertisers and do what it takes to sell them through.
• Work in a highly matrixed, collaborative environment, leading effective ways of working across teams, always elevating the work with sound judgment, and connecting strategy through the line.
• Liaise with stakeholders across the rest of the organization, sales, editorial, audience and marketing on opportunities to determine value and partnership structure.
• Keep current with the industry best practices, providing the team with the tools they need to win business and execute compelling and Bloomberg worthy experiences.
• Encourage a passion for creative thinking amongst all stakeholders and champion the audience experience.

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
• Bachelor’s Degree, plus 8+ years of experience in marketing strategy, preferably at a brand strategy firm / experiential or creative agency / consultancy.
• The ability to be a visual storyteller; build decks that flow and tell a clear, concise story, and look beautiful.
• Strong public speaking skills that translate into telling stories compellingly, confidently, and convincingly.
• Strong strategic writing skills – you can distill complexities to any audience.
• A collaborative thinker, a great communicator and active listener who can successfully collaborate across multiple departments to get the best work out of people.
• An expert creative with an understanding and curiosity for production, events, and types of technology that will be incorporated in live and virtual activations. Experience working on large brands, experiential programs and content creation is preferred.
• Business development experience or a strong commercial mindset.
• A deep understanding of (or interest in) B2B media landscape and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of the trends shaping consumer behavior today, and in the future.
• Ability to work under deadlines and stay focused simultaneously on the big picture and smallest details.
• Willingness to travel at times when required.
• A real passion for innovation and a drive to win!

Salary Range: 150,000 - 185,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
