• Provide support for each client in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion through listening and other helping skills
• Meet one on one with clients to provide information on pregnancy options of parenting, adoption, and abortion, as well as counseling clients with accurate information about the effects of abortion and Post Abortion Syndrome (PAS)
• Offer support, material needs, and referrals that are appropriate for the client?s situation
• Gain experience in performing pregnancy tests and delivering test results to clients
• Learn Industry Standards for collection of data and HIPAA rules for ensuring proper notes are kept daily, following established documentation protocol
• Follow-up with clients for appointment reminders and to inquire about updates to pregnancy decision (for abortion minded clients)
• Maintain all client records as outlined in center policies and guidelines
• Gain experience in Front Desk management by support client intake by helping set appointments when clients call in and take initiative with in-office duties when staff and/or scheduled volunteers are unavailable
• Assist with keeping client service areas are clean, neat, organized, and fully stocked
• Build and nurture pleasant relationships with all staff and volunteers
• Exhibit a teachable spirit and humility
• Attend at least 2 of our monthly staff meeting at Support Site (Fridays 3-5pm)
