The ideal candidate is a creative and seasoned digital designer skilled in creating diverse marketing and promotional materials for both digital and print media. This includes designing for digital and print Road Ahead magazine, email and direct mail, marketing visuals, dynamic ad creation, website and corporate documents. A strong grasp of branding and visual identity, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, is essential.

The role has the option to work flexibly from home and at our Brisbane City or Eight Mile Plains office.

About you

We are seeking a candidate who is both a strong communicator and a passion for continuous learning. You will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with a supportive team. • Bachelor's degree in Design or Interactive Media (or equivalent tertiary qualification)
• 3-5 years' experience in Graphic Design or equivalent
• Experience in use of the Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and XD)
• Financial services or regulated industry experience desirable but not essential
• Hands-on experience in creating design materials across diverse channels, including OOH, social, digital channels, and print materials.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of digital UI design principles and their application at a commercial level through an online portfolio of engaging, responsive websites;
• Well-developed communication skills including the capacity to influence and negotiate
• Good interpersonal skills and be able to deal with partners and business stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new software packages

The Interior Designer is responsible for the plans, designs, and furnishes interiors of residential buildings. They have strong creativity and an eye for detail. Interior Designers have strong project management and collaboration skills to oversee design projects from start to finish.

What are the responsibilities of an Interior Designer?
• Formulate design, which is practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as raising productivity, sales, or improving lifestyle.
• Collaborate with the Architectural firms, Construction, Design Team, and Property Management to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, purpose, and function. Work closely to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of the design.
• Proficient in project management, client/designer collaboration, space planning, material selection, budgeting, vendor coordination, compliance and design presentation.
• Develop design concepts and create visual representations such as sketches, mood boards, or 3D renderings to communicate ideas, considering factors such as color schemes, materials, lighting, and furniture placement.
• Develop project budgets and provide cost estimates for materials, furnishings, and labor.
• Designer will be involved in approved projects from procurement to installation.
• Stay up to date on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Provide expert consultation when working with clients.

What are the role requirements?
• NCIDQ certified or able to obtain certification within the next year
• Proficient in creating construction documents
• Multifamily design experience strongly desired
• Bachelor's degree in interior design.
• 5+ years of interior design experience is preferred.
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and strong interpersonal skills are required for success in this position.
• Experience using design software is required. Must be proficient in at least one of these programs (Revit or Sketch Up)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to balance and prioritize simultaneous projects and tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must present the ability to execute job duties within time constraints and circumstances such as tight deadlines or other difficult situations.
• Must be willing to travel to various locations via private or public air transportation and locations within driving distance via car multiple times a month, including overnight trips.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
