We are experiencing strong growth and are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to ensure EGR Décor continues to grow domestically and internationally.
Key responsibilities:
• Liaising with key stakeholders to implement new products to market.
• Identifying suitable equipment and technologies required for production that improve manufacturing and product development processes to enhance quality, innovation, productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
• Coordinating and overseeing commissioning of new machineries
• Identifying technical and operational problems affecting product development and undertaking appropriate measures
• Researching current and future industry trends
• Maintaining quality standards by ensuring staff are trained on the relevant quality standards of the department and first off inspection procedures are followed.
• Ensuring efficiency standards are met and improvement opportunities are explored.

• Communicate and work well in routine/unplanned circumstances with sales, Team Leads, and shop personnel.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction skills.
• Exceptional management/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the equipment and facilities within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, systems, and infrastructure, and contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Report all safety and environmental issues/incidents to relevant Supervisor / Manager.
• Carry out preventative maintenance within scheduled time frames.
• Respond to breakdowns as required and repair in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
• Report maintenance activities / defects to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Carry out regular stock takes on parts and tooling.
• Participate in the development of preventative maintenance regimes for the site.
• Ensure all stores and spare parts are stored in a neat and tidy manner.
• Ensure tooling and equipment is maintained to a high standard and stored correctly
• Fitting duties as required within the EGR Group (Vac Forming Equipment, Various Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment, Robotic)
• Welding duties as required
• Provide mechanical advice and support as required
• Strong "team orientation", work ethic and positive attitude
• Maintain a safe workplace.
• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental legislation and EGR requirements.
• Report all hazards as per EGR procedures.
• Follow safe working practices and other safety procedures.
• Carry out regular safety inspections of plant and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS
• Five (5) or more years of work experience in industrial technical equipment and electronical repairs and service.
• Electrical License is a plus.
• Welding experience is required.
• Extensive maintenance fitting experience ideally within a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Self-starter, decisive and able to think on your feet.
• Excellent communicator and work well within a small team.
• Ability to Interpret engineering drawings
• Demonstrated ability to analyze faults and eliminate the root causeAbility to communicate effectively with a wide range of personnel
You should be proficient in:
• Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans
• Electrical Troubleshooting Skills

Image processing techniques for manual/semi-automated platforms will be extended to be fully automated digital-twin platforms using ML and AI techniques. Real clinica-imaging data will be used in the study. The outcomes from this platform are expected to identify critical biomarkers that can be used in the diagnostic phase of patients with aortic dissection and aneurysm diseases.
Responsibilities*
Job responsibilities may include the following:
• Perform an intensive literature review about cardiac image processing
• Develop/use software platforms to segment and process images that describe of the heart function including aortic geometry under healthy and diseased conditions
• Use the processed images to reconstruct the 3D geometry of the aorta
• Develop a simple machine learning algorithm to be used in image processing
• Prepare manuscripts/technical reports/posters/presentations
Required Qualifications*
• Candidate must be a current University of Michigan-Flint graduate/undergraduate student
• Basic experience with published characterization and coding techniques
• An ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
• An interest in working on biomedical related scientific problems
Desired Qualifications*
Experience using imaging software and experience coding are preferred
Knowledge of cardiac systems is preferred but not required
Work Schedule
Work will be done on campus or remotely upon mutual agreement. The position begins immediately and will continue for at least three months.
