Essential Functions
Team
• Hires, trains, develops and retains Managers and Team Members.
• Has direct management responsibilities including Manager performance evaluation and the right to hire and terminate hourly Team Members
• Drives Manager and team member engagement
• Directly leads and manages the performance and development of the management team Bar Manager, and Kitchen Manager
• Responsible for overseeing all restaurant training initiatives and ensuring proper execution of all training programs
Guest
• Oversees all community connection and fundraising related activities Responsible for timely resolution of all Guest complaints
• Sets restaurant goals related to improvement of the guest experience
Quality Operations
• Responsible for all food and beverage quality, service, and cleanliness standards within the restaurant
• Responsible for purchasing and ordering not limited to Food, BWL and Operational Supplies
• Oversees high-impact guest experience initiatives within the restaurant
• Responsible for restaurant achieving key company initiatives provided by operations leadership
Sales and Profits
• Accountable for overall restaurant performance and sales building activities (can delegate when applicable but is ultimately accountable)
• Assists and implements Marketing Initiatives in partnership with Marketing Department
• Responsible for all sales forecasting
• Responsible for monthly Profit and Loss statement results and required action
Knowledge & Skills
• General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures, computer operations
• Good people management skills, communication and listening skills. Must champion change
• Manage and direct the work of other Team Members
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others
• Must be able to read and comprehend written materials, write in grammatically correct sentences, and perform basic to intermediate mathematical computations

Qualifications
Required
• Education: High School or equivalent.
• Meets the minimum state age requirement related to serving alcohol
• Must possess proper food handlers and alcohol dispensing certifications (if required by law)
• Satisfactory background check history
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred
• Minimum 4-5 years management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous Manager Experience in Casual Dining Restaurants

Summary
Accountable for leading and engaging restaurant Team Members in creating exceptional culinary and service experience while guarding the integrity of Graze By Sam. Responsible for financial health, profitability and success of the restaurant through the oversight and development of Restaurant Management Team and hourly Team Members. Leads the execution of Graze By Sam programs. Directly responsible for driving a culture of excellence and creating strategic plans to build sales. Provides overall management guidance to the other managers in the restaurant.
