Role & Responsibilities Our consultants utilize their experience in the above-mentioned capabilities along with ISG design methodologies to enable a client to transform their technology environment to a flexible yet cost effective and agile enterprise. Typical engagements the Cloud Principal Consultant will lead or support:
• Full scale Application and Infrastructure Transformation programs
• Hybrid Cloud transformation strategy, including migration and adoption
• Cloud sourcing, negotiations, and contracting with hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Global System Integrators (GSIs), and Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
• Cloud FinOps / cost optimization and business case development
• Market trends research and development surrounding emerging technologies
• Assessment of cloud operating model, security, and FinOps
• Cloud and infrastructure Governance and Center of Excellence (CCOE) design & implementation
Key Responsibilities
• Lead engagement delivery teams through workshops and presentations to all organizational levels, including VP-level and C-suite
• Support sales cycle for new opportunities, including developing proposals and presenting to prospective clients
• Develop and sustain client relationships with enterprises and service providers, identifying opportunities and representing ISG capabilities across all practices
• Support the global ISG community in development of skills, continuous improvement of delivery methods and sales collateral, and development of market and social artifacts to promote the practice and improve revenue generation
Required Skillsets
• 7+ Years of IT Infrastructure experience including Compute, Network, and Cybersecurity
• 5+ years of Cloud based delivery
• Experience in Application Portfolio Analysis preferred
• Consulting experience preferred
• Sales and sales support preferred
• Competency in the following key disciplines is desirable:
• Cloud or Applications Operating Model Design, Development, and Implementation

• Industry Experience: Experience working across multiple industries

Education

Position Overview

Under the direction of Global Leader, ISG Events, be responsible for the research, development of pipeline and sponsorship sales for ISG Global Events.

Responsibilities
• Build a robust sales pipeline and sell sponsorships to ISG Global Events with a sponsor sales target of $1,000,000
• Help develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for 2024 events
• Initiate paperwork, obtain counter-signed SOWs, setup sales/clients in OneSys (ISG contract management intranet), get invoices issued and paid
• Follow up on outstanding invoices
• Work closely with Global Events Team and Sponsors to ensure all contracted deliverables are fully executed and sponsor satisfaction level is rated excellent
• Exceed personal and event revenue targets
• Ensure the sponsor experience is excellent and subsequently renew their return the next year

Required Skillsets
• Required to report to the office 4 days per week
• Travel required 2–4 times per year depending on event schedule
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, B2B or event sales a plus
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
