• Ensure documents are reviewed to determine appropriate distribution and disposition processes as outlined in established DOE and Laboratory policies and procedures.
• Coordinate appropriate classification of controlled documents/materials, maintaining a controlled supply of unclassified and/or classified documents/materials to assure compliance with DOE and Laboratory policies and procedures.
• Assist in internal and external unclassified and/or classified inventories and audits.
• May perform special assignments that require comprehensive knowledge of document and records systems, processes, and procedures, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and make recommendations.
• Research, assemble, and/or evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes affecting document control and records management policies or programs; recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues.

Education/Experience: Position requires a Associate's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and 4 years of directly related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Laboratory structure
• DOE "Q" clearance.
• Administrative processes/tools such as unclassified and/or classified Product Data Management (PDMLink), LANL Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), LANL Electronic Records Management System (ERMS), and Sharepoint.
• Ability to generate reports within PDMLink, exporting to Excel and arranging the information for dissemination to management and document preparers/responsible persons.

WPC@LANL is a new, culture-changing tool that will help improve and automate the way we plan and control the work we do at LANL . The Software and Applications Engineering (SAE) Division supports LANL’s enterprise applications and performs software application development support, database development and administration, software quality management, and enterprise application consulting. The Site Infrastructure, Mission, and Programs Software Group (SAE-3) provides software engineering services, custom application development, and commercial off the shelf application implementations.

Software Developer 3: ($99,200 - $164,100)

We are seeking a senior software developer to join our team responsible for developing web and maintaining application software in support of the lab’s mission. We are looking for someone with experience designing, developing, modifying, testing, and debugging web applications using modern frameworks. The selected candidate will have wide-ranging experience that enables the resolution of complex issues in creative and effective ways. Will Work as a member of an Agile Software Development Team, responsible for the full-stack web development of new software solutions for our customers.

Software Developer 4: ($109,100 - $182,000)

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements

Software Developer 3:
• JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and latest versions of React
• Full stack web development experience
• Experience with relational database (SQL Server) design and implementation.
• Working within Scrum or some other Agile framework
• Testing of applications through unit and integration tests, following CI/CD processes, and experience with React Testing Library / Enzyme.
• Proven software lifecycle knowledge and experience in all phases, including requirements, design, development, and testing with appropriate documentation.

Education/Experience

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 8 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

Software Developer 4

In addition to the requirements outlined above, qualification at the higher level requires:
• Strong knowledge and experience with relational (SQL Server) and non-relational (MongoDB) database design and implementation, JSON, REST, HTML CSS, and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React).
• Expert experience in the engineering and development of complex software systems using industry standards and best practices.
• Expert experience designing and implementing APIs for use within complex systems.

Education/Experience

Position requires a bachelor’s degree and 12 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation .

Desired Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Agile (Scrum) methodologies
• Experience with Docker
• Experience designing user interfaces and applying user experience methodologies
• Strong experience with automated testing especially testing modern front-end and back-end frameworks.

Location:

This position will be located in Los Alamos, NM with the flexibility for the selected candidate to work from a location other than the primary location. Reporting onsite will be periodically required. Remote is at the discretion of management and can change at any time with appropriate notice.
