Responsibilities include:
Audio and/or Camera for our daily newscasts along with:
Setup & teardown of newscasts including (but not limited to):
Studio and set preparation
Maintaining studio (including cleaning)
Lighting
Video Editing
Digital Posting
Graphic creation
Studio Recordings and Live Newscasts
And many other duties as needed in our thriving and busy newsroom
Experience:
Experience is not necessary as we will train the right person, but education and/or internship in television or related field is preferred
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone local, who is hoping to get into the exciting and extremely important world of journalism. From here, you can go anywhere
General Hours:
Local News is a 24/7 operation. Standard shifts include 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. You will not work both mornings and evenings but rather all morning shifts or all evening shifts. As this is a part-time job, working days and/or days off will occasionally change.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Responsible for assisting with sales of our radio and television advertising . Collects monies from clients, fills out time and production orders and aids in ensuring the completion of advertising spots.
Essential Functions
1. Collects monies from clients that are past due and from those that will need to repay.
2. Properly fills out time orders and production orders.
3. Aids in the production of advertising spots and scripts and ensuring their completion.
Competencies
1. Strong Organizational Skills.
2. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
3. Technical Capability.
4. Strategic Thinking.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full Time position, Monday through Friday. Actual hours and schedule may vary.
Supervisory Responsibility
Reports Directly to Senior Vice President, Integrated Marketing Solutions
Required Education and Experience
1. CRM experience is required.
2. 1+ years in the broadcast industry or comparable experience.
3. Written and Verbal Spanish Proficiency.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Understanding of Nielsen Media Research information a plus.
