This position will be overseeing roughly 35 Union employees, both sheet metal forming and welding/finishing, with a focus on ensuring operator safety, while maintaining our high-end quality standards. Our team is focused on continuous improvement, working with operators on the floor to understand challenges and come up with effective and sustainable solutions.

Primary Responsibilities
This position will lead the 2nd shift fabrication operations to produce the metal components needed to assemble Subzero, Wolf, and Cove Kitchen Appliances.
• Strong advocate of safety and housekeeping. Ensures that the safety rules and guidelines are followed in the facility
• Oversees fabrication operations to meet quality, on-time delivery, and productivity expectations
• Organizes and assigns work for the hourly employees. Facilitates training to help improve output
• Works with other departments to reduce operational costs, improve work instructions, improve scheduling, and reduce cost of quality.
• Participates in and coordinates programs related to employee communications, orientation, placement, training and development, etc.
• Promotes positive employee relations through open and direct communication.
• Ensures conformance with the company policies, practices, and work guidelines
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication or similar equipment is desired but not required
• Other duties as assigned.
• Hours are Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
