• Tracking drivers from point of origin to destination ensuring that they are on schedule for the pick-up and delivery appointments for Mexico loads;
• Assist carriers with any issues or delays encountered throughout the shipment life cycle(advising appropriate account manager and when necessary the customer);
• Communicating issues or delays to the Operations Team and providing solutions whenever possible in order to maintain the highest customer satisfaction;
• Verifying customer delivery requirements are being met in a satisfactory manner;

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the track & trace of inbound freight shipments from multiple vendor distribution centers to Burlington’s DC campuses.

Perform tracking of domestic shipments and be responsible to ensure purchase orders are routed/appointed on time then picked up and shipped to our one of our DC campuses.

Partnership with merchandise vendors, domestic carriers, and DC locations to ensure timely pick up & deliveries.

Assist merchants by providing support and analysis as needed or requested in regard to the whereabouts of their merchandise.

Exercises discretion and independent judgement throughout daily operations and escalates issues that may cause delays in shipments.

Communicate critical information to internal and external partners in clear, concise, and professional manner.

Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solutions; ability to make real time decisions with little guidance.

Analyze and monitor performance and KPI monitoring. Ability to understand & manage data reports while owning performance metrics that drive business results.

Compile and present data analysis to management or merchants; measure performance criteria for all carriers and vendors, as well as performance metrics for internal evaluation.

Responsible for coordinating, preparing and driving recap meetings in PowerPoint and Excel with all level of our merchants and Supply Chain leaders

Build and maintain relationship with key personnel with their assigned vendors.

Hold meetings with the vendor’s teams via phone or WebEx to flush out any issues or concerns, or just to coordinate timely shipments.

Recap KPI and scorecards while discussing opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

BA or BS Degree preferred.

1-3 years of Logistics and/or Supply Chain related experience.

Ability to interact with all levels, vendors, carriers, 3rd party providers and internal stakeholders.

Familiar with performance management; including scorecards, root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint needed.

Advanced data analysis and data visualization

Flexible work schedule that may be required during peak season for non-standard work hours.

Responsibilities

· Track, trace, and monitor ADL shipments by communicating directly with carriers.

· Consistently update driver's locations updated in ADL’s TMS

· Reschedule loads that have been delayed In-transit

· Assist in resolving in-transit issues with freight.

· Document and communicate service failures in ADL’s TMS.

· Compile data and complete daily delivery reports.

· Collect transportation related documents from carriers.

· Communicate issues with co-workers and managers.

Experience

· High school or equivalent (Preferred)

· 1 years of Transportation or Logistics industry experience preferred.

· Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines.

· Must have demonstrated critical thinking skills and be process oriented.

· Possess strong communication skills (both oral and written).

· Computer literate

· Organized: Must be highly organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills, and attention to detail.

· Interpersonal: Must possess strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).

· Self-motivation: Having a positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency, and the initiative to work independently.

· Conflict resolution: Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with others. Know how to be persuasive with the ability to stay calm.
