GPT Export: We are currently exporting Google Publisher Tags specifically for Video and Audio (VAST tags). These tags are then embedded into a mobile application dedicated to music playback. Before the main content plays, users are presented with a pre-roll ad.
3rd Party Demand Integration: Within Google Ad Manager, we've successfully integrated an audio redirect tag that paves the way for 3rd party demand from an external Supply Side Platform. When activated, this tag not only serves the impression but also ensures the ad plays audibly within the mobile application. Report-wise, all appears nominal; both Google Ad Manager and the external SSP reflect the requests and impressions accurately.
The Challenge:
Despite the successful integration and reporting, there's an anomaly we wish to address. The values for 'User Agent' and 'Device IP' aren’t being captured or relayed to the 3rd party demand source, resulting in empty fields. Our mobile application has the capability to populate these values if integrated within a macro in the Google Publisher Tag (VAST). However, we're uncertain about the process or which macro should be deployed to ensure these values are correctly transmitted to the 3rd party demand tag.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager and its Multiple Customer Management (MCM) feature.
- Demonstrates proficiency in working with Google Publisher Tags (GPT), especially in the realms of video and audio.
Is familiar with integrating 3rd party demand tags and ensuring seamless data transmission between platforms.
- Possesses a keen analytical mind that can troubleshoot and resolve data relay issues.
Our Objective:
