SwifDoo PDF allows you to view and edit PDF files leave annotations on the document. Another feature of SwifDoo PDF is that it allows the user to convert their PDF file into other formats, such as HTML or IMG. For those people looking for a small and fast PDF reader and editor, this is a strong contender. 1. LousyMaskedGamer.

Edge works great until you find half the pdf's you open wont print for some god damn reason. And not only viewing. Edge let's you annotate, ink, type, highlight, and save. All for free, no attempts at up selling, etc. Except you can't fill out PDF forms on Edge/Chrome, so you still need a reader program for those.

The search feature isn't the best to be had, but it works well as is. It can launch a PDF in full screen to make reading easier, and you can just click the screen to move down the PDF pages. This PDF program runs on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. Download Javelin PDF Reader. 09.

Relatively fast launch time. Fast ability to search text with CTRL-F in large PDF's (aka textbooks) What is important for me in a PDF Editor: Ability to highlight text. Ability to write text (Like, PDF Form) Ability to edit, add, or remove the layout, text, and pictures. (optional) Ability to comment (Like, notes in a PDF textbook)

SumatraPDF. I see it recommended here, so here's another testimonial to boost its presence. So far best I have used. Clean, streamlined, fast, optional tabbed view (remembers opened files if you want), can block scripts to prevent any safety breach (never had to enable them) and, of course, it's free.

My top 3 choices for a PDF Reader: Foxit, because it has the best file explorer preview. SumatraPDF - starts up very quickly, good support for keyboard shortcuts, actively in development, open source, comes with a preview thingy for Explorer's preview pane. I used to like Xodo, but have switched to Okular and Edge.

3. darkbloo64. • 2 yr. ago. I don't know how recently you've used it, but I'd argue that Okular isn't really barebones. Evince (the GNOME PDF viewer) is pretty simple, but Okular's about the closest thing I've found to an open source Adobe Acrobat, insofar as viewing, navigating, and marking up PDFs go.
