Received $1020 USD in my Transferwise account. Converted in Transferwise to €900.06 with a $6.08 fee at the actual exchange rate. Withdrew to my EUR bank account and paid a €0.60 Transferwise fee. I received €899.46. Total Fees: €0.60 + $6.08. Equivalent PayPal Fees including 3.5% exchange rate fee: ~$73.69. Conclusion.

I'm looking to automate on a monthly basis, some of my Japanese income to my bank back home, maybe say like 40,000 yen a month or something, nothing too crazy. TransferWise in terms of Reddit and other random sites, it seems like most people have nothing but positive things to say about it. I actually couldn't find much negative at all.

I received my WISE debit card (new version - green and Visa) today. I have never seen such a cheap looking credit/debit card in my life. It feels very flimsy. The green color, DEBIT VISA logo, all look cheap. I bet many places may not welcome to accept this card because it looks fake. I cannot believe the card costs $9.
