Aircraft wheels are designed to rotate at a higher speed than automobile wheels. Aircraft wheels are also designed to retract into the aircraft's body when not in use. This is done in order to save space and reduce drag on the aircraft. Automobile wheels do not need to rotate as quickly or retract into the car's body because they are not used in flight.
