1A Auto is seeking a talented, creative, and efficient Video Production Editor Intern to join our in-house video production studio in Pepperell, MA. 1A Auto’s YouTube channel has over 2.3 million subscribers and is one of the leading automotive channels on the platform. Our team’s goal is to empower 1A Auto’s customers to repair their vehicles themselves. Video Production Editor Interns will work closely with our videography staff to learn the fundamentals of camera work, video editing, and producing/directing talent. Interns must work during regular studio hours (Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm). There are no remote work opportunities with this position.

Video Automotive Mechanic Interns will be part of our video production team which creates auto repair videos for a variety of cars and trucks. 1A Auto’s YouTube channel has over 2.3 million subscribers and is one of the leading automotive channels on the platform. Interns will enhance their knowledge of basic automotive repair and learn the importance of repair quality and accuracy. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of being an on-air talent. This position will be based out of our video studio in Pepperell, MA. Our Video Auto Mechanic Intern will work closely with our Video Auto Mechanics/Technicians and videography staff to learn the fundamentals of automotive repairs. Video Automotive Mechanic Interns will be part of our video production team which creates auto repair videos for a variety of cars and trucks. 1A Auto’s YouTube channel has over 2.3 million subscribers and is one of the leading automotive channels on the platform. Our team’s goal is to empower 1A Auto’s customers to repair their vehicles themselves.
Interns will enhance their knowledge of basic automotive repair and learn the importance of repair quality and accuracy. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of being an on-air talent. This position will be based out of our video studio in Pepperell, MA. Interns must work during regular studio hours (Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm). There are no remote work opportunities with this position.
Our Video Auto Mechanic Intern will work closely with our Video Auto Mechanics/Technicians and videography staff to learn the fundamentals of automotive repairs. Video Auto Mechanic Interns will begin by shadowing our Video Auto Mechanics/Technicians in a bay and observing the process we go through to create “how to” videos for YouTube. Other activities and duties can be assigned as the Intern becomes more familiar with our organization.
Responsibilities
• Enhance your basic knowledge of automotive repair with our experienced staff of automotive technicians and mechanics.
• Gain a better understanding of how to deliver a detailed narrative of auto parts and automotive repair that benefits our audience.
• Help keep work areas clean and organized, as well as helping to move and store auto parts.
• Represent our brand by empowering customers to complete “do it yourself” automotive repair tasks.
Qualifications
• Majors/fields of study include, but are not limited to, pursuing ASE Automotive Technician Certification or any automotive repair related major.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and repair.
• Must have a positive attitude, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to solve problems as they occur.
• Use and understand Microsoft Office programs.
• Solera/Identifix knowledge a plus.
