Overview of Program:
• Participate in a 10-week internship program designed to give you a robust understanding of Sixth Street’s investing strategies
• Acquire extensive training and develop your understanding of financial products, underwriting, modelling, and accounting
• Obtain hands-on, meaningful, and substantive work experience in a small class that is representative of our Analyst Program
• Gain investing acumen across geographies and asset classes (debt and equity)
• Perform in-depth industry research to support our investment evaluation process
• Get exposure to senior management and a network of alternative asset management industry leaders
• Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, including in-depth analysis on companies and industries (detailed valuation and financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, DCF analysis, and comparable analysis)

Qualifications:

• Credit Market Strategies, Structured Credit, and Structured Products will kick off recruiting in Spring/Summer 2023. The annualized base pay for this position is expected to fall between $95,000 - $110,000 and will be prorated based on the duration of the Summer Analyst program. Core Responsibilities
• Collect and analyze financial spend data to develop reports, dashboards, and key metrics for General Counsel.
• Implement data-driven strategies to control costs and optimize outside counsel spend.
• Provide support in areas including finance and expense allocation, law firm billing management, and general administration.
• Oversight and coordination of legal division financial management and internal reporting.

Core Responsibilities
• Collect and analyze financial spend data to develop reports, dashboards, and key metrics for General Counsel.
• Implement data-driven strategies to control costs and optimize outside counsel spend.

What a typical day includes: patching and painting walls, trim, ceiling, clean and repair appliances, prepare units for new residents and complete plumbing and electrical tasks. Manage maintenance functions, budget, and vendor contracts in collaboration with our property management team. This position is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
PAY: $25.50 - 28.00/hour

Minimum Qualifications of Position
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
Preferred Qualifications of Position
• Technical certifications.
Knowledge and Skills
• Work in a collaborative manner and in a team environment. Define and solve problems.
• Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing. Present information to groups of people.
• Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
• Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints. Draft make working sketches. Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
• Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.
Duties:
• Collaborates with Property Manager to ensure that budgets are followed and achieved, where possible.
• Meets or exceeds stated unit turnover timelines to ensure maximum occupancy levels.
• Ensures that company procurement standards are met.
• Collaborates with Property Manager to ensure that maintenance contracts meet or exceed the best possible quality and expense standards.
