Responsibilities:

Ability to effectively handle breaking news live on-air, without a script. Both in studio and out in the field.
You must be able to research, setup, shoot, write and edit content on a daily basis.
Active use of social media for promotion and news gathering
Demonstrated ability to move an audience between linear and digital platforms
Willingness to lead and mentor.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to the community, which includes representing the station and participating at various community events
Knowledge of the Central Valley and bilingual skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience. This is not an entry-level position.

Required Education:

A college degree or equivalent.

The pay range for this SAG-AFTRA Union role in Fresno, California is $60,461 to $74,654 per year.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to successfully troubleshoot and rectify issues associated with the collection and retransmission of signals in any acquisition format for local programming, including newscasts, studio, and field productions. Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the broadcast field.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Must be able to work on rotating shifts, mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
