• Lead a high-performing team of program managers responsible for executing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of over two dozen international education programs through strategies that allow the ACC to sustain and accelerate annual growth trends in this revenue stream year after year.

This position is based in Washington, DC where we have a hybrid work environment (roughly 40% of the time in the office).
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead a high-performing team of program managers responsible for executing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of over two dozen international education programs through strategies that allow the ACC to sustain and accelerate annual growth trends in this revenue stream year after year.
• Hone existing processes across the Global Programs team to facilitate efficiencies in program management and allow for more rapid growth of our portfolio of clinical education programs.
• Collaborate with leadership in departments such as Marketing & Communications, Education, and Market Intelligence, to ensure all new programs receive standard cross-divisional support.
• Foster strong financial stewardship of revenue from industry sponsors by overseeing budgeting and forecasting of all operational expenses; continually seeking opportunities to mitigate cost overruns without compromising on quality.
• Manage relationships with external vendors supporting needs such as instructional design and audience generation across various global programs by guiding strategy, contracting, and problem-solving if unforeseen issues arise.
• Serve as point of contact and strategic partner to peer professional societies and NGOs supporting the development and delivery of educational programs that are interdisciplinary in clinical focus area or target audience.
• Present on ACC strategy in international education in front of executive leadership from the College, industry sponsors, and society partners.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and at least 8 years of relevant experience in program management; experience managing educational programs and a team of personnel for an international non-profit organization preferred.
