• Collects and reimburses mileage quarterly
• Processes travel reimbursements (minimal)
• Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Processes and reconciles credit card batches
• Manually posts outside of ordinary expenses
• Assigns appropriate account and G/L code to accounts payable and transfers
• Prepares and processes bank deposits – manages minimal petty cash.
• Processes pay/funding changes
• Payroll
• Uploads weekly hours once approved by managers
• Process payroll bi-weekly
• Assists with questions on self-service HR – change IRA deductions…
• Procurement
• Reconciles employee card expenses
• Coordinates uniform inventory
• Maintains and orders office and kennel supplies as needed
• Other
• Prepares gifts and verifies employee’s year end
• Updates departmental account list
• Assists Business Managers and directors as needed
• Assists with year end and quarterly taxes as needed.
• Insurance renewals as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED with two years of relevant accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Microsoft office including solid Excel
• Prefer some experience in Account edge (old system)
• Knowledge of Dominion Payroll or another processor (preferred)
• Knowledge Gingr kennel management software (preferred)
• Kennel experience helpful
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH DOGS.

Assist in writing proposals for obtaining external and internal funds for data science and enterprise systems Required Qualifications Education :
PhD in Accounting or DBA from an accredited institution or MBA / M.S. in Accounting with a desired professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA, CISA)
Experience :
Academic experience or three years industry experience in the private sector is preferred. Research experience in accounting is also preferred.
New doctoral graduates are welcome to apply. CSU is a historically Black college and university (HBCU). It is to the advantage of the applicant to be familiar with diverse populations and their histories.
