The Agoda Product Team is a diverse group of UX researchers, product designers, product managers, and content creators, that help to build Agoda’s products from our home office in Bangkok. Qualifications:
• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or any related field
• 12:17 years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains
• You are very comfortable with planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research
• Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methods (individual and group interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.)
• Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, and statistical concepts, etc.)
• Experience in evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors
• Be able to describe user problems and business opportunities to a variety of stakeholders by leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data
• Experience in leading and managing teams of user researchers
• You are able to demonstrate critical thinking beyond business requests
• You are a great storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business people, designers, engineers and other stakeholders (in English)

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the functioning and outcomes of the network of User Experience Researchers at Agoda. You will strategize how the Research function works at Agoda, plan and execute against hiring requirements, facilitate researcher skill development, and bring visibility to leadership on the most strategic issues in user experience on Agoda products. Key activities and skills required for the role will include:
• Collaborating with Product vertical leaders to understand research needs, and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders including data scientists, engineering and partner service managers to discover user pain points
• Guide UX Researchers in defining research questions and selecting appropriate methods of data collection to deliver stakeholder-relevant value at any stage of business
• Developing budgets and timelines for the User Research function
• Supporting UX researchers in evaluating research opportunities, e.g. determining the importance, urgency, and impact for team
• Developing strategic research activities and insights to answer key business questions effectively and efficiently
• Communicating with leadership effectively to highlight critical user issues that demand strategic attention

The Opportunity

Lead / Staff engineer is the key role in our technology organization working together with individual contributors and senior leadership. Our lead engineers are heavily involved in the hiring and mentoring process and are the go-to people who design and implement new systems and components. What you’ll Need to Succeed:

• Working experience with agile, analytics, A/B testing, GIT Flow
• Excellent HTML/CSS skills – you understand not only how to build the data, but how to make it look great too

This role is responsible for leading the customer service teams supporting English Language team as they provide support to customers across voice, email, chat, and back-office activities. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

The Manager of Customer Experience Group provides vision, leadership, and guidance to each team leader and associates in the key operating areas through performance and goal setting. Effectively communicates with team, developing a climate in which information is shared openly. Clearly defines team goals and expectations. Develops tactical plans to reach these goals. This role requires a high level of personal and professional skills associated with running global operations teams. First and foremost, this is a people leader role and enabling local teams to be successful is core to the role. In addition to being a brilliant people leader and communicator, the ideal candidate will bring a vision, a sense of curiosity, a passion for travel, keen analytical skills, a tech-centric mindset, and a willingness to lead by example. 

Responsibilities
• Identifies operational issues affecting the team and credibly explains this with the use of relevant data to customer service leaders along with recommendations that consider overall business impact (such as cost, service levels, team engagement)
• Understands key drivers of SLA performance and recommends structural adjustments to customer service leaders and enablement teams to ensure team resources are optimally utilized
• Understand call routing strategies, good understanding of metrics used to evaluate call center performance, familiar with principles of workforce management (understanding how to ensure sufficient workforce availability and levers to influence workforce availability), basic process improvement
• Takes ownership to understand how changes outside the team (g., new suppliers, changes to SOP, new product lines ) will impact team and prepares team well for this through combination of large group meetings and effective 1-on-1 coaching
• Understands the key drivers of customer satisfaction & dissatisfaction and works with customer service leaders to address customer dissatisfaction and implement self-healing processes where possible
• Regularly review customer feedback and QA insights to help educate teams about Agoda products and services as well as identify customer handling improvement opportunities
• Invests energy to inspire, coach, mentor, and develop emerging customer service leaders so we develop individuals as well as organizational resilience
• Raises the bar on talent through serving as faculty in internal learning programs, or helping inform development of new L&D programs, or helping to attract credible external talent

Qualifications
• Significant customer service and leadership experience are essential

Key Areas of Focus:

In this role, you’ll get to work on: 

Strategy : 

Identify growth opportunities and prioritize investment areas for Strategic Partnership (SP) Business Unit team based on analytical insights, industry trends, and changing competitive landscape. Align Strategic Partnerships initiatives with Booking Holdings mission and Agoda strategy. 

Data Analytics :

Oversee SP data infrastructure to ensure data availability, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Design, manage, and oversee the maintenance of data tools to support decision making.  

Leverage data & tools to analyze SP performance and identify appropriate levers to improve performance.  

Performance management and experiments :

Design, maintain and optimize a performance management system for the Business Unit, including a large team of account managers.

Preparing updates on business performance, proposals, and recommendations to senior management and C-suite. 

Optimize pricing strategy and make decisions based on A/B experiments.  

Cross-functional projects :

Work with different teams inside SP BU (verticals, markets, operations, etc.) and outside of SP BU (product, marketing, supply, etc.) to drive initiatives. 

Facilitate the merger efforts of Agoda & Booking.com Strategic Partnerships teams and drive the integration effort to realize synergies from the new combined structure 

What you’ll Need to Succeed:
• Minimum of 6 years of total experience with Consulting, Data Analytics, Strategy, Business Development, Program Management or other relevant fields 
• Proven ability to leverage analytics and quantitative methods to break down ambiguous problems and come up with recommendations 
• Growth mindset and excited to work on a variety of functional areas
• Entrepreneurial and not afraid to be hands-on on the work 
• Experience working in a fast-paced and high growth environment 
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English)

ABOUT PRICELINE AGODA GLOBAL PARTNER SERVICES

Priceline Agoda Global Partner Services is unique within the global Agoda organization. We’re building a best-in-class team that supports two of Booking Holdings’ hotel platforms; Priceline.com and Agoda.com. Priceline Agoda Global Partners Services provides our hotel partners with a single, flexible merchant connection powered by a robust technology platform offering our hotel partners global reach with local expertise.

Position Summary:

As Business Development Manager, your key objective is to expand Priceline-Agoda’s North American network of hotel partnerships, by performing the core duties of new hotel solicitation, product positioning, negotiation and contracting. You will be expected to manage a robust pipeline of pre-determined target hotels, and quickly and methodically move these hotels through to a point of contracting and preparation for activation.

The Business Development Manager will use their experiences in sales to effectively position the unique Priceline-Agoda products and services to secure new partners, as well as their experiences in negotiation to ensure that favorable terms are reached in a timely manner. Your experience in outbound calls as well as face to face sales environments, will mean you are an excellent manager of time, understand the value of call / meeting volumes, follow ups, and securing commitments from targets through tenacity and perseverance. Your adaptable and consultative style will be key to ensuring that targets with varying levels of technological sophistication will understand the value of a Priceline-Agoda partnership, and ultimately ensure you are successful in securing new hotel product.

Key Responsibilities:
• Expand network of hotel partnerships by effectively positioning unique products and services through face-to-face meetings/in-person visits.
• Identify, prioritize, and facilitate onboarding of non-contracted hotels, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Evaluate existing leads and prioritize them to generate a continuous flow of client acquisition, meeting an expected monthly goal / call volume.
• Reach out to customer leads primarily through cold calling. Manage a robust pipeline of leads
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
• Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges.
• Prepare presentations and materials tailored to the audience needs.
• Manage regular weekly/monthly internal reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in new client acquisition, preferably in the travel industry, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Highly motivated, goal-orientated and self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence external/internal stakeholders.
• Ability to research, prepare and communicate various proposals to potential and current hotel partners.
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

The range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $80,000-95,000.

The Opportunity:

The role sits within the Supply Analytics team under SOAP team of Partner Services, where new business ideas, and partnership types are incubated and scaled. We are looking for a Lead BI Analyst whose main focus areas are providing visibility and insights for people-related issues through Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SQL, managing data warehouses, building ETL processes, and helping build other tools to optimize the business. This role will be involved in strategic projects and work closely with commercial owners and business stakeholders, using data to identify and translate business needs and opportunities into actionable initiatives.

In this Role, you’ll get to:
• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects (to include refining the initial brief and asking the ‘right questions’, working through potential hypotheses and storyboarding the output)
• Use and analyze data from multiple large-scale data warehouses and present statistically strong analysis to a wide range of business stakeholders

The Opportunity

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. This role is ineligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

The range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is 34K-42K for 6 months co ntract.
