A Typical Day:
• Manage all day to day administrative responsibilities for the Deputy General Counsel, Chief Ethics Officer and the VP of Legal, Risk & Regulatory. This includes advanced calendar management, travel and expense management, note-taking, meeting preparation and follow up, report and resource/database maintenance and coordinating office access. Act as a thought partner to the leader to strategically align their calendar with their priorities.
• Plan and execute team events, offsites, activities, and recognition
• Assist and/or own content creation including drafting emails and creating presentations
• Manage purchase orders and partner with the leader and finance to track and analyze budget and expenses
• Provide support for project-related work. This includes preparing reports for quarterly business reviews and working with the leader to create onboarding plans for key team members. Additionally, process improvement, participating in strategic organizational activities, managing end-to-end external executive events, managing senior leadership agendas, and partnering with key external stakeholders (e.g. investors, M&A, government officials, strategic vendors).
• Maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders such as internal/external comms, talent partners, D&B, FP&A, legal and recruiting for org effectiveness.
• Manage and maintain the security of the leader's email inbox, in compliance with our code of ethics and data privacy, security and protection policies as requested by the Leader.
• Represent the organization to internal and external stakeholders
• Act as a mentor for Administrative Coordinators. This includes meeting with a mentee on a regular basis and providing guidance and sharing resources to support their growth and development.
• Build effective relationships within Airbnb to serve as a catalyst around scheduling and or spontaneous inquiries/requests
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned

Your Expertise:
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting senior level executives in an administrative capacity
• Previous experience in high growth environment strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, proactive, exhibits positivity, professionalism, confidentiality and good judgment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Ability to deal with conflict as well as give and receive feedback diplomatically
• Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity

How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $108,000.00 and $134,500.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

This position is US - Remote Eligible, however candidates based in New York, NY and San Francisco, CA are preferred. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. A Typical Day:
• Developing a deep understanding of how guests and hosts interact with our product through structured and unstructured data sources.
• Work closely with Product Managers to design, execute and evaluate A/B tests. Understanding common pitfalls and caveats when designing and evaluating results.
• Define how to best measure the performance of Airbnb product and business through new metrics and dimensions - align on definitions with the business (evaluating tradeoffs and defining guardrails), and prototype metrics through custom data pipelines.
• Empower the team to answer data questions quickly and easily by building high-quality ground truth data sets and dashboards. Collaborate with Product Engineering to spec out logging and with Analytics Engineering to build data tools for mass consumptions within Airbnb.
• Contribute towards advancing the Analytics and Data Science disciplines at Airbnb, including driving data best practices such as improving and automating analytical processes, building new data tools and data sets, data education around the company and mentoring and developing others.

Your Expertise:
• 8+ years in industry experience and a degree (Masters or PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
• Experience in a Product Analytics or Data Science role
• Expert communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment. Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience partnering with product teams to drive action and providing expertise and direction on analytics, data science, experimental design, and measurement
