Areas of Responsibility
General Office
· Coordinate visitor services at the Discover Albany downtown location
· Serve as Discover Albany’s liaison to the manager of the Albany International Airport Information Center

Preferred Qualifications
· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferably in business or tourism management and/or proven experience working in a professional office environment
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Willing to take initiative and work independently
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Great team player
Salary Range: $43,000 – 47,000 commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
A. Candidate must possess a New York State Department of Education certification to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant; and
B. Must be eligible to participate in the examination for national certification.
Vacancies are filled by certified list provided by Albany County Civil Service. Should no certified list be available, candidates appointed to this position will be serving in a provisional appointment in accordance with New York State Civil Service Law.
