Job Summary:

The Financial Consultant analyzes and communicates financial results for key products, markets and initiatives. This position uses routine data and analytic methods to provide financial insights and develops compelling story lines that deepen client insights and recommends creative actions to guide strategy and operations to enable Allstate to generate profitable market share growth. This role formulates financial projections to support in predicting and tracking performance and diagnosing potential issues.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and forecast implications to the business recognizing how different data points fit together
• Access and apply available data relevant to business issues to provide insightful, actionable analysis
• Use large datasets to investigate and understand the financial drivers to answer business questions
• Prepare presentations for financial updates that clearly explain current trends and identify emerging issues
• Provide accurate, timely reports with financial insight to allow business partners to improve performance
• Develop and participate in effective presentations for small groups
• Support conversations with leadership to understand business implications of current trends

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1 or more years of related experience

Functional Skills:
• Intermediate business knowledge (i.e. deep financial skills/flow of the numbers) of financial and accounting concepts as well as intermediate analytical and financial model building skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills to partner with employees both internal and external to finance as well as interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex data driven problems
• Ability to leverage mathematical and statistical skills to help gather, measure, organize, and analyze data
• Ability to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets (using SQL or other languages like R or Python are a plus)
• Inspire trust and confidence with business partners and team
• Knowledge of data visualization strategies to explore, analyze, visualize, and present data (software such as Tableau or Power BI are a plus)
• Effective time management and organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for analyzing and adjudicating claims in accordance with policy provisions with minimal guidance from the medical team or leadership team. They must also be able to obtain and utilize sensitive information discreetly and objectively in addition to documenting claim files with notes, evaluations and decision-making processes while achieving optimal customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations as well as evaluate claims from initial report to final determination
• A Sr. Associate is responsible for analyzing, processing, researching, adjusting and adjudicating claims which will result in a payment or non-payment of a claim with minimal guidance from the medical team or leadership team
• Sr. Associates review insurance policies, the claim form and supporting documentation to make sure that all of the information is correct
• They determine whether the claims are covered under the policies issued to that policyholder
• Sr. Associates assist in identifying, investigating and reporting fraudulent claim activity to our internal fraud unit
• Sr. Associates are required to provide the insured with correspondence that is clear, concise and meets state regulations in relation to the decision they made on the claim processed

Education and Experience:
• 0-2 years or related experience
• Experience working with medical records is preferred

Functional Skills:
• Ability to work in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
• Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations.

A day in the life of a Field Estimating Property Adjuster:
• Spend your day handling claims virtually from home as well as traveling to loss sites that have been damaged by fire, water, weather or other unexpected events
• Conduct a detailed inspection of the property and write an estimate to capture the extent of the damages
• When you are not in the field, use advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors to identify damages and write a damage estimate from a virtual setting
• Review the policy and decide how coverage applies and provide the customer with a detailed explanation of both the estimate and the policy
• Communicate empathetically with customers and help them through their claim process in a fast, fair and easy manner
• Negotiate claim settlements with customers in accordance with business unit standard methodologies
• Use data and analytics to tell a story and influence decision making
• Flexibility to work in a variety of environments - independently, within a team, face-to-face, and virtually
• In our virtual environment, adjusters are required to participate and be on camera during online meetings and trainings

Job Summary:

The Commercial Agency Support Team is responsible for responding to basic and complex inbound telephone/email/chat/fax inquiries, system navigation support, product and market direction. The team may act as an intermediary between the agent and the insurance company. The team markets risk to carrier partners on behalf of agents using a combination of automation and direct carrier placement. At different levels, sales skills and knowledge of risks and the insurance market are used to find and arrange coverage. The team acts in the interest of the agents and offers products from more than one insurer to provide the agents the best quotes available to them.

Key Responsibilities:
• The Commercial Agency Support Senior Associate provides ongoing day-to-day assistance to agents using various systems, products and procedures.
• The representative is responsible to the agent for providing exceptional service, documentation and follow up on existing business.
• This role requires the level 1 employee to be trained on a limited scope of products and procedures to answer basic to complex agent inquiries.
• Applies broad and established knowledge of job to assist caller.
• Provide availability SME for multiple lines & Carriers, review risk for eligibility and conveys information in a concise and professional manner.
• May review policies, process binder and upload with carrier for binder completing.
• Works under direction and follows protocols.
• Meets daily performance standards.
• Responsible for providing exceptional day-to-day routine consultation, service and support to agents/peers via phone, email or chat.

Education and Experience:

• 1 year of experience in customer service, insurance, agency or brokerage required
• College degree preferred and/or equivalent experience

Functional Skills:

• Demonstrate a broad level of under understanding of the insurance markets and the lines of business available at the carrier level
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong discipline to adhere to schedule
• Commitment to Customer Service Excellent is required
• Proficient in Microsoft office word and excel
• Internet proficiency

• Spend your day handling claims virtually from home as well as traveling to loss sites that have been damaged by fire, water, weather or other unexpected events
