Responsibilities

Essential duties, tasks, and responsibilities:
• Involved in developing strategic marketing and operations planning with the goal of increasing revenue and expanding the Company's client base.
• Responsible for the management of client relationships. Initiates and facilitates regular contact with clients to build and maintain relationships.
• Responds to client inquiries and manages the resolution of client issues. Provides follow-up as required.
• Acts as a liaison to licensed Franchise Advisor when sales-related activities are required.
• Prepares and processes client deliverables allowable under broker dealer/regulatory agency rules.
• Services clients by collecting and inputting data for financial plans, running scenarios, and closing out plans.
• Implements and executes programs designed to build and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Prepares and ensures new business paperwork processes successfully which may include preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, preparing documentation, tracking new applications, and coordinating rollovers.
• Runs illustrations, proposals, and other reports for clients as needed. Prepares charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids to be used in meetings with clients.
• Engages in analysis of client information relevant to client servicing.

Works in tandem with Advisor to establish and execute marketing plan for the practice. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
• Coordinating strategic planning for marketing and communications efforts;
• Developing and implementing plans for improving overall client experience;
• Involved in coordinating client events to meet prospective clients and deepen client relationships;
• Determining the type of events and seminars that should be planned based on the needs and interests of the audience;
• Deciding on the schedule of events and seminars and deciding on a target audience for each (clients, prospective clients, a mixture of both, etc.).
• Acts as a liaison to support staff to ensure a high level of assistance is provided to clients and that outstanding service levels are met at all times.
• Assigns and delegates work and organizes the workflow of support staff. Provides feedback, as needed.
• Builds and maintains a deep understanding of client needs, as well as industry trends, best practices, processes and solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced degrees in related disciplines are helpful and preferred.
• Continued education- Lifelong learning is expected. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Fully licensed in accordance with Ameriprise standards. The following licenses are required for the Associate Financial Advisor position: Current Driver's License, Series 7, Series 66, State life, accident, and health insurance licenses are also required.
• You are required to retain all necessary registration and licenses (including Continuing Education) for the Associate Financial Advisor position. You must maintain the above-mentioned licensing as well as retain any additional licensing that may become required for your position.

Performs research and due diligence. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
• Providing executive summary of all webinars, workshops, and educational events;
• Co-managing relationships with wholesalers;
• Providing investment analysis research, running illustrations and hypotheticals, preparing reports, and making recommendations; and
• Planning and conducting market research to identify alternative ideas and opportunities for the Practice.
• Collaborates with members of the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the Company.
• Engages in strategies designed to communicate essential information concerning the Company to existing clients.
• Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and to the organization.
• Properly tracks and documents all client contact, including phone calls, messages, and attempts to contact in accordance with the Ameriprise Compliance Manual standards and requirements.
• Assists in preparation of annual operating plan of the firm.
• Responds to ad hoc requests, manages/coordinates projects, prepares client correspondence, provides support for closes, answers phones, and performs new business corrections and alerts, and other ad hoc duties.
