In this role you would be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology proposal and evaluation stage (e.g. early... engagement) with the Engineering teams working in conjunction with the account teams as the key technical advisor and system advocate for a wide range of commercial and passenger vehicle applications. The FAE must be able to identify customer platform requirements and work closely internally with Analog Devices Business Units and Systems Engineering. You will take ownership for driving the resolution of all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the design in sales process. The mobility FAE must be able to build trust and establish and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 customers as well as ADI internal automotive Business Units. You would need to invest in your product and system level knowledge on an ongoing basis through the various training and development opportunities.
Requirements
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge level for wide range of vehicle systems and sub system applications across multiple Tier 1s.
• Listen, understand and convey customer requirements
• Provide design and specification development support to customers and automotive BU
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFQs
• Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth
• Assist in the definition, design and development of new products and tools
• Travel to customer sites together with Account Managers and Mobility FAEs/SMEs supporting deep dive Mobility technology discussions
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is aligned with the ADI automotive BU’s Strategy
• Maintain professional business relationships with customer experts at several Tier 1 customers in close cooperation with the GAM/KAMs and Mobility FAEs/SMEs
Qualifications And Skills Required
• BS/MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Work experience >5 years in engineering and/or semiconductors
• Good understanding of automotive systems engineering and vehicle architecture
• A solid understanding of electric control systems and analog semiconductor applications
• Excellent understanding of automotive power circuits
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team player with a social nature
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Curious nature and willingness to challenge the status Quo
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills as need to collaborate with global teams
• Proven customer project management skills
• Available for travel 50%
• Driver license required
• Languages: English (min. C1)

Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) Group under the Instrumentation Business Unit at ADI is currently looking for an experienced Design Evaluation Engineerlocated in Wilmington MA. Products in this strategy are comprised of integrated high speed and precision signal chains targeted towards Automated Test Equipment applications. The Design Evaluation Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing high performance evaluation test solutions on Bench Lab Test Equipment for first silicon verification, characterization, qualification and manufacturing of Precision Mixed Signal products. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with an experienced development team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop product evaluation test solutions for High Performance Analog / Mixed Signal integrated circuits.
• Design, develop and debug, cost effective evaluation test HW/SW solutions for characterization, qualification and wafer debug probe and final characterization.
• Work with design engineers in defining/developing evaluation test methodologies, evaluation test plans and evaluation test modes.
• Define evaluation test schematics, work with lay-out engineers in designing of Printed Circuit Boards HW.
• Debugging evaluation test programs, correlating evaluation test solution results to design engineering simulation.
• Engage and support local and offshore application teams to resolve product use case questions and problems after production release.
• Participation in New Product Development Teams and evaluation of new evaluation test systems for future applications required.
• Manage and maintain projects schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.

Required Skills and Coursework Desired:

• Strong knowledge of analog/digital devices and C/C++/Visual Basic programming a must, plus scan test experience.

• Creates and executes a plan containing a strategy to capture both new and competitive business in current & future SAM potential while protecting ADI and customer IP
• Directly leads and creates new opportunity engagements that provide the highest value for the Global account while aligning ADI’s strengths and objectives with customer needs, resulting in a differentiated solution
• Synthesizes & simplifies the customer’s complex organization and leads ADI on how to approach the customer.
• Creates an executive relationship map and builds networks from the very highest decision makers facilitating the engagement of ADI senior leadership as a strategic partner with customer’s C-level leadership.
• Viewed as part of the Global account’s company culture and as a trusted partner.
• Understands and leverages the entire Global account’s extended ecosystem.
• Identifies field coverage (Sales and Application Engineering) needed to execute profitable growth and deploys the talent globally to win the most strategic multi-location platforms.
• Interacts directly with ADI executive BU leaders up through ADI CEO, acting as the single voice of the customer filtering information appropriately related to the account’s objectives, performance, opportunities, and issues.
• Understands the entire Global account’s ecosystem (end customer, market, design partners).
• Identifies and resolves issues that interfere with driving investment decision making that leads to profitable growth with the account.

Coaching and Talent Development of Team:
• Coaches and develops a team of KAMs/Field Sales Engineers on their responsibility for the account’s sales plan and associated competencies.
• Has a development plan in place with KAMs/FSEs that leverages the individual’s strengths and improves areas of development.
• Identifies high potential talent and closely monitors their development.
• Determines need for training and development aligned with overall corporate and sales strategy and objectives; ensures training is completed and/or up to date for Global account team.
• Reinforces Challenger Selling throughout Global Account sales team.
Management and Leadership:
• Leads and coaches entire customer sales team in unbiased way relative to regional alignment; recognizing the efforts of the various regional locations supporting the account. Decides splits accordingly.
• Demonstrates the expected ADI leadership characteristics necessary to lead others.
• Able to lead multicultural team through influence.
• Responsible for performance to plan, understands drivers of gaps to achieving plan and quickly addresses those areas until resolved.
• Acts as an advocate for sales staff and is involved in escalations when customer expectations are not being met.
• Appropriately rewards and recognizes employees following ADI’s pay for performance philosophy while also driving differentiation across the organization.
• Leverages internal capabilities – sales operations, sales enablement, FAE, BU resources, HR, etc. – to most effectively manage and develop their team
• Manages change aligned with overall sales and/or corporate strategy and objectives

The power team is currently seeking a Product Evaluation Engineer to work on the development of new product solutions in the area of switching power supplies for broad market applications. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the product development team, assuming responsibility for developing innovative, high-performance power solutions for our leading-edge product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Debug, evaluate, and characterize µModule regulator prototype, including the creation of eval/char plans, data collection & analysis, and generating/presenting technical reports.
• Perform bench evaluation including efficiency, thermal, ripple, load transient, and loop gain optimizations, etc.
• Debug power converters in a lab setting with a wide array of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, probes, efficiency meters, thermal cameras, impedance analyzers, etc.
• Interface with Design and Application Engineers as part of an overall product development team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of laboratory test equipment, be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility, and show initiative in identifying and solving challenging technical problems:
• BS or above Degree in Power Electronics.
• Having experience in switching power converter designs is a plus.
• Enjoy analog and power circuit designs, simulations, build, and lab testing.
• Good analytic/debug skills or affinity to learn.
• PCB layout/design experience or affinity to learn.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including the ability to listen and fairly consider inputs from teammates.
• Mental flexibility and willingness to learn any skill or technology as the needs arise to do the job.

Job Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for
• Verification of complex designs and sub-systems using leading edge verification methodologies.
• Contribute and influence the decisions on methodologies to be adopted for the verification.
• Architect the testbench and develop in UVM or Formal based verification approaches.
• Integrate the block testbench in chip-level UVM environment and verify integration.
• Define test plans, tests, and verification methodology for block / chip-level verification.
• Work with the team to achieve closure on code coverage and functional coverage
• Mixed signal transient simulation (DMS and AMS).
• Continuous interaction with analog and digital teams in enabling top-level chip verification.
• Support post-silicon verification activities of the products, working with design, product evaluation, and applications engineering team.
Qualifications
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of ASIC verification work experience
• Strong understanding and hands on experience with System Verilog and UVM
• Block and subsystem level verification
• Experience with gate level simulation and debug
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Love of learning and problem-solving
• Enthusiasm for helping customers and colleagues
Additional Preferred Qualifications
