Job Description

As an Industrial Automation Specialist (Customer Care), you will be responsible for providing pre- or post-sales support to assist the Sales team in their sales efforts of industrial automation products, systems and services. You will use data and workflow information from various platforms to remotely execute onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal motions relevant to the contracts of each account in their portfolio. You will need to understand customer needs and requirements to provide first line support to customer inquiries in relation to our services and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will also need to ensure on-time renewal, understand the customer's health scoring, and lastly you will collaborate with local sales to best support our customers.

Responsibilities:
• Provides technical services to clients relating to industrial automation products.
• Makes sales calls, research customer needs and provides product and application information; demonstrating technology solutions for customers.
• Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information and solutions to internal and external customers.
• Provides pre/post automation sales support for sales teams and customers.
• Develops expertise in industrial automation product groups and shares that knowledge as needed.
• Participates in joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Participates in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in product and complementary product areas.
• Understands market conditions and competitive forces.
• Participates in marketing, promotion programs, and product launches from product businesses.
• Maintains excellent relationships with vendor product managers and other selling resources

Qualifications:
• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2+ years technical background and/or experience.
• Communication and presentation skills
• 1 year preferred automation sales.
• 2 years preferred technical experience using automation products

The expected salary range for this role is $68,500 - $109,600. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's compensation level within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance. This position may be eligible to participate in the company's incentive plan. • You will be on your feet most of the shift as a material handler, using computers, scan guns, forklifts and other types of motorized equipment

What you need to apply:
• High School degree or equivalent
• 1-year warehouse operations experience preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Stable work history
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Able to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day
• Willingness to learn to operate typical warehouse machinery such as order pickers, forklifts, etc.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
