The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal, and professional development of the student. As a Content Writer Embark Intern the student will be involved in developing quality biblical worldview content for the exhibits at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This person should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
• Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset.
• Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
• Participate in life skills development courses provided for Embark Interns.
• Work with Attractions Design Content Manager to develop and review the content for signage, scripts, and miscellaneous items for the attractions.
• Work with production designers as they plan and design exhibits.
• Work with graphic designers to produce accurate and engaging signage.
• Under the direction of the Content Manager, research and write about various biblical, historical, and scientific topics related to the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and any future attractions.
• Write and review web articles, blog posts, or book chapters for publication by Answers in Genesis.
• Assist Content Manager in correspondence and social media duties, such as responding to questions submitted via mail, email, phone, or social media.
• Be flexible to assist with miscellaneous projects or other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications

Description
Perform warehouse work related to receiving, stocking shelves, and pulling, packing, and shipping all outgoing orders to individual customers, resale accounts, Creation Museum bookstore, Ark Encounter gift shop and events. The Warehouse Specialist should display our Core Values of SERVE when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities
• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
• Pulls, packs, checks, and ships all out-going orders to individual customers, resale accounts, Creation Museum bookstore, Ark Encounter gift shop and events utilizing the Inventory Management System.
• Receive and shelve incoming stock
• May act as courier to post office, Petersburg office and Ark Encounter.
• Restocks shelves as assigned
• Monitors supplies
• Daily updates postage account
• Prepares documentation for shipments
• Always keep work area clean and neat
• Utilizes volunteers to help meet needs
• And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
Requirements
• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.
• Attention to detail and Ability to multi-task
• Good people skills in dealing with others as they seek help from the warehouse
• Good verbal communication skills
