SUMMARY: The primary role of the Club Manager is to provide a world-class experience to all customers in the facility; this is done through an initial facility tour, sign up process and occasional coaching. The Club Manager needs to have customer service in the front of their mind to build relationships with their customers. • Schedule: 40 hours scheduled within seven (7) consecutive days (Monday – Sunday). Working hours are scheduled according to the needs of the department and the company.
Compensation
• Wages: $15.00/hour payable, in semi-monthly installments. Graduated increases contingent upon regularly scheduled employment evaluations, to include potential annual increases.

• Vacation/Sick pay:
• 0 < 2 Year anniversary of Employment –> 4 hours PTO accrued per month

• Holiday pay: 8 hours will be paid for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and one floating holiday of your choosing (Birthday, Anniversary, extra vacation day.)
• Medical Insurance: Up to $250 reimbursement each month for a policy that is chosen and paid for by the employee. Contingent upon a positive review following your one-year anniversary of employment, your medical reimbursement will increase to $300 each month.

Position Summary
The Fitness Trainer/Coach will be responsible for instructing or coaching groups or individuals in exercise activities. Demonstrate techniques and form, observe participants, and explain to them corrective measures necessary to improve their skills. The Fitness Trainer/Coach reports directly to the Regional Member Experience Manager.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training modifications to meet any special requirements or limitations, while still accommodating each set of muscles
• Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary for skill improvement
• Monitor participants' progress and adapt programs as needed
• Teach proper breathing techniques used during physical exertion
• Instruct participants in maintaining exertion levels to maximize benefits from exercise routines
• Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing the use of the exercise equipment
• Provide members with information and resources regarding nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues
• Maintain equipment inventories, and select, store, or issue equipment as needed
• Promote membership sales and record member information
Professional Skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to accommodate client needs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to work with their clients
• Thorough understanding of dietary procedures that improve clients’ health
• Excellent knowledge of how to use gym equipment properly and train clients accordingly
• Ability to stay up to date with the latest fitness techniques and health trends
Qualifications
• Education: Associates degree in a related field (e.g. exercise science) or equivalent educational level preferred. The lack of a degree may be compensated with additional experience.
• Certification: Personal or Group Training certification through a nationally accredited provider preferred.
• Experience: One (1) or more years of personal/group training experience and general business experience.
• Schedule: 20+ hours scheduled within seven (7) consecutive days (Monday – Sunday). Working hours are scheduled according to the needs of the department and the company.
Compensation
• Wages: $15.00/hour payable, in semi-monthly installments. Graduated increases contingent upon regularly scheduled employment evaluations, to include potential annual increases.
