This will be a permanent hybrid (3 days in office – Las Vegas / 2 days WFH) opportunity. This role will be working with a team of engineers, business analysts, database and web developers, and product manager to implement dynamic data driven mobile applications. The... Mobile App Developer will create and build mobile apps using React Native and native app development for iOS and Android platforms, as well as helping to develop and maintain internal systems for business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with an information technology focus or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a mobile developer.
• MUST have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience creating and sustaining React Native applications.
• Proficient knowledge using JavaScript.
• Understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, i.e., JSON Web Token.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methods.
• Skilled in source control systems, e.g., TFS, GIT, etc.
• Prior work experience constructing and implementing mobile apps to app/play stores.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP services integration.
• Experience in benchmarking and optimizing apps for best performance across various devices.
• Capable of effectively working independently and as part of a team.
• Efficient troubleshooting and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILTIES
• Create mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms utilizing React Native.
• Assist with the business and third-party vendors to theorize and execute custom designs.
• Ensure team process to submit and track implementation information including work items, tasks, and issue management in JIRA.
• Transform business requirements into solutions using enterprise architecture design patterns.
• Help with scoping, estimating, and risk management efforts.
• Strategize and implement a development and production-hosting environment to optimize performance, availability, and security.
• Develop and execute end-to-end integration and unit test cases.
• Develop and incorporate applications to support the business strategy and requirements with an emphasis on business delivery, performance, availability, scalability, security, maintainability, reliability, ease of configuration, and integration.
• Maintain overall responsibility for mobile app development and deployment.
• Take part in peer code reviews and oversee code reviews at different stages in the development process.
