Feeling ready for a career that gives you the freedom to openly live out your values, foster your spiritual life, AND excel at your work? Do you desire to work where you personally will make an eternal impact on the world...

As you look around, you may notice our societal underpinnings, cultural norms, and our overall ethos in America no longer supports and buoys up those seeking to follow Christ. At this pivotal point in history, there is an amazing opportunity to rediscover the power of the Gospel and to bring people to the saving grace and abundance of life in Jesus Christ. If you feel a tug on your heart to live on mission for the glory of the Father, we'd love to meet you.

All roles within the Office of Evangelization and Family Life Ministries share in a common approach to ministry which includes:

• The EFLM Office is an extension of the Archbishop's teaching office.

• The mission of the EFLM Office is to provide pastoral equipping for the work of ministry. If/when the office provides intellectual, spiritual, or human formation it is always in service to the primary work of pastoral equipping.

• The EFLM Office's "primary audience" for ministry are current and emerging leaders (both clergy and lay, paid staff and volunteer, of all language and cultural groups present in the local Church).

• Intentional Accompaniment is the primary avenue by which the EFLM Office seeks to accomplish its mission (which gives preference to local mentoring over large scale programs/events).

The Mission of the Archdiocese of Denver:

The Archdiocese of Denver exists so that in Jesus Christ all might be rescued and have abundant life, for the glory of the Father.

At the Archdiocese of Denver Pastoral Center, we seek to live this mission by living the following values. You will be love working here if you aspire and strive to live these.

Abide in Relationship: Having become sons and daughters of the Father in Baptism, we grow in relationship with him and our neighbor.

Be the Cavalry: Our desire is to build up God's Kingdom and to rescue our neighbor. The work to be accomplished is ours. No army is coming; we are the cavalry.

Confound the World: We recognize we're on mission to proclaim the power of the Gospel in the modern wilderness, a hostile land which requires courage in the face of opposition. Our joyful, countercultural witness perplexes the world and plants seeds of curiosity about its origin.

Key Job Responsibilities (and KPIs for each: what success looks like in this role):

Key Responsibility Areas and Key Performance Indicators for each:

1. Responsible, with the support of the Family Ministry Team, for developing, piloting, and promulgating a new model for family ministry across the Archdiocese of Denver.

Key Performance Indicators

• Within 6 months, this individual will have a well crafted "vision" for family ministry in the parish context and can articulate the steps needed to move towards it.

• Within 12 months, this individual has officially partnered with a pastor and/or lay leader at 1-2 parishes to pilot the transition towards this new vision.

• This individual is agile - adapting the vision and steps towards its implementation appropriately as critical feedback is received in the pilot process.

• Within 12 months, this individual can identify critical trends within the leaders of the above ministry (things such as: biggest areas of concern, most common areas of strength, low hanging fruit for the transition to a new vision for ministry, most common obstacles to change, etc). This information will be based on realistic data/conversations and not on assumptions.

• Though it is a qualitative metric and not possible to quantify, leaders in the above ministry areas should report feeling supported, understand, and aware of what's happening in the Archdiocese as a result of this individuals ministry. (A sample "task" would be: sending a monthly newsletter to ministry leaders with important and relevant information)

3. Responsible for keeping up to date with resources, programs, models, etc for family ministry and serving as a curator of these resources on behalf of our pastor and lay leaders.

Key Performance Indicators

• Within 6 months, this individual is broadly familiar with the resources/programs/methods currently available for "family ministry" (in both the English and Spanish language context).

• Within 12 months, this individual could be considered an "in house expert" in the most commonly used/asked for programs and resources that are associated with family ministry, children's faith formation, or sacramental preparation.

• Within 12 months, this individual has communicated with the ministry leaders in the above areas, their recommendations for best resource/programs/models.

4. Responsible for playing an active role on the Family Ministry team and supporting the larger initiatives of the Office of Evangelization and Family Life Ministries.

Key Performance Indicators

• This individual is a team player: coming prepared and participating in weekly team meetings, looking for ways to support their team members, clearly communicating their needs and opportunities for collaboration.

• This individual plays an important role in the creation of the Family Ministry Budget and keeps accurate records to ensure all efforts are completed within the prescribed budget.

5. Responsible for overseeing the execution of the yearly Totus Tuus program

Tasks include: recruiting, interviewing, hiring Totus Tuus Teachers; managing parish sign ups and logistics; scheduling and overseeing training for teachers; and regular check ins with Totus Tuus teams over the summer.

Key Performance Indicators

• Teacher positions are filled in a timely manner with faithful and capable young adults.

• The registration and logistic details are coordinated with our parishes in an excellent and timely manner.
