About The Role
The lead archive activities and implement archive systems to ensure compliance with GLP
requirements. They will perform all necessary lead functions to effectively and efficiently
coordinate personnel assigned. Oversee training of Archive personnel for consistency with procedures. The Lead Archivist will provide feedback to supervisor on employee performance.

What You'll Do Here
• Develop and maintain computerized files to support and maintain archive processes.
• Coordinate the receipt, review, indexing, labeling and archiving of study and facility materials.
• Oversee the checking of materials in and out of the archives.
• Correspond with Sponsors at the end of retention periods and maintain all Sponsor correspondence for easy access.
• Coordinate and document the disposition of study materials according to Sponsor's request.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for the department.
• Review and update archiving standard operating procedures.
• Participate as company representative on Sponsor and regulatory visits by hosting archive tours and retrieving requested information.
• Coordinate and assign daily activities of the Archive staff.
• Leads process improvement initiatives.
• Help train other employees as needed.
• Acts as the backup for Supervisory duties
• Perform training of staff by conducting training seminars and distributing information on GLP regulatory requirements for archive processes.
• Assist with document review.

What You'll Need to Succeed
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a regulated environment.
• 1 year supervisor experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, writes routine reports and correspondence, and speaks effectively before Sponsors, regulatory agency representatives and groups of employees in the organization.
• Continual GLP training, computer software applications and archive processes.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment, administrative experience and records management capabilities.
• Understanding of regulations as they relate to archive responsibilities.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.

Your Role

The Specialist, Digital Archive Management oversees and guarantees the integrity and safety of Digital Archive assets and records. This role is highly organized and has the responsibility of monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on collections of Digital Archive assets. This role develops and performs extensive audit functions to provide daily monitoring of the digital preservation infrastructure. This role further supports business units in the search and retrieval of asset collections within the Digital Archive. This role is the primary enforcer of vendor workflow standards.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Digital media package QC and verification to ensure vendor-delivered files conform to spec.
• Resolution and investigation of packages ingested due to mis-configuration (e.g. missed "_ingest.xml" or missing SHA-1, etc.), system-related errors
• Vendor liaison for package delivery requirements, written and/or verbal error reporting, provides WBD-specific identification metadata (WBIDs, MPMs, etc.)
• Review MAM-generated failure emails for resolution and solution with Vendor

Experience & Qualifications
• 2 years in digital asset management, digital production management, archival or vault operations and management or a related field
• BA Degree or equivalent required
• Knowledge of film and television production and/or post-production technologies, workflows and media types
• Knowledge of digital archive best practices preferred
• Knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems preferred
• Knowledge of Inventory Control (IC) systems preferred.
• Knowledge of post-production workflows and best practices preferred
• Knowledge of WBD product preferred.
• Familiarity with Entertainment media terminology and technology required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Business Intelligence applications
• Knowledge of Smartsheet preferred
• Takes initiative and generates solutions and alternative options for consideration
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person, online/remote conferences and on the telephone
• Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions
• Must be able to organize and schedule work appropriately, demonstrating effective time management strategies
• Must be able to work well under time constraints
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees.

Pay Range: $40,579.00 - $75,360.00 salary per year.
