Oversee reception and deposit of key income streams such as Sunday collection and school tuition.
Directs Bookkeeper and Shared Accounting services contracted from the Archdiocese in record-keeping, transactions, and communications connected to parish finances.
Oversee contract renewals and other major financial matters, obtaining necessary permissions from the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Cultivate staff and volunteer compliance with parish financial procedures and controls.
Prepares an annual budget and participate in Parish Finance Council meetings.
Participate in twice-monthly parish staff meeting.
Leads meeting of business and communication staff and key volunteers.

Knowledge& Experience Requirements

Leads Bookkeeper, Communication Specialist and Volunteers, and Shared Accounting services contracted from the Archdiocese of St. Louis in collecting revenue, paying bills and payroll, monitoring parish finances, overseeing repair and... maintenance and capital expenditures, and planning a parish and school budget.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support Pastor in careful stewardship of parish financial resources.
Oversee reception and deposit of key income streams such as Sunday collection and school tuition.
Directs Bookkeeper and Shared Accounting services contracted from the Archdiocese in record-keeping, transactions, and communications connected to parish finances.
Oversee contract renewals and other major financial matters, obtaining necessary permissions from the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Cultivate staff and volunteer compliance with parish financial procedures and controls.
Prepares an annual budget and participate in Parish Finance Council meetings.
Participate in twice-monthly parish staff meeting.
Leads meeting of business and communication staff and key volunteers.
Maintains confidentiality in all areas of responsibility as required.
Discharge other duties required by the current time of transition.
Knowledge& Experience Requirements
Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Explorer, and Chrome.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Citrix, Quickbooks.
Three to five years of successful work in parish or small business finances preferred.
Knowledge of the Archdiocesan Financial Management and Control Manual for Parishes preferred.

Relationships Requirements
Collaborate closely with Pastor, Senior Associate Pastor, Principal, and Parish Finance Council.
Lead an Executive Assistant, Maintenance Team, and Shared Accounting services contracted from the Archdiocese.
While the work may generally be performed seated at a desk, the candidate must be able to navigate steps in order to enter.
Available some weekend or evening meetings.
Some work may be performed from home.

Financial recourses for a parish in with balance sheet in excess of 2 million dollars.
Physical infrastructure of three parish campuses.
Typically prepares annual budget for the parish and assist other staff members and organizations as needed in preparing budgets for their areas of responsibility.
