We are looking for a... passionate, dedicated, and experienced Sr. Customer Success Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our customers' business objectives and will play a crucial role in impacting these objectives in relation to our products and services. They will establish and maintain strong relationships with our strategic customers, ensuring their success, satisfaction, and retention.

This role is available to candidates living in Portland, OR or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities:
• Act as a trusted advisor to our strategic customers, understanding their business objectives, strategies, and industry trends.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by establishing and meeting customer success metrics and goals by leveraging tools and a data.
• Proactively manage customer relationships by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling AskNicely's products and services.
• Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to customer relationships and understanding the customer’s business operating model
• Partner with our sales team to drive revenue growth within existing customer bases.
• Influencing through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building;
• Be data driven and develop and execute strategies for expansion in strategic accounts.
• Conduct regular business reviews and provide strategic recommendations to customers to drive ROI.
• Partnering with other Customer Support teams to ensure that account issues are managed through to successful resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Drive customer advocacy and referrals.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar role in a SaaS environment.
• Proven ability to understand and articulate complex business issues with a strong understanding of SaaS business models and their customer success requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other customer success tools.
• Ability to travel as needed

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in fast-paced company where you were involved in general ledger related activities, preferably in a senior accounting role
• An individual with broad experience beyond general ledger and month-end close, seeking to have a significant impact
• Working knowledge of SaaS applications - ideally including some combination of Xero, Salesforce, Slack, Chargebee, ChartMogul, Fathom, NetSuite and Intact.
• Strong technical accounting acumen with hands-on knowledge of international accounting and revenue recognition standards.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Self-directed and motivated towards leveraging technology for efficiency and transparency
• Ability to meet deadlines and work closely with a senior management team

• Product messaging - across all channels, including web, G2, Qualtrics, AppExchange, LinkedIn, website, chat, customer comms, consistent messaging
• Three significant launches per quarter with a consistent drumbeat across all channels, including LinkedIn, website, chat, customer comms, and PR
• A far stronger strategic narrative and pitch deck to support sales teams win more deals
• Foundational content, such as the Frontline Study and Benchmarking, as well as series-based content showcasing practices and tech stack of great companies
• Develop a success-based demand flywheel where all customers achieve demonstrable impact, driving to case studies, interviews, and verticalized promotions

Responsibilities:
• Product messaging and positioning – Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates our product from its competitors. Know your target audience, challenges, market, and competitive landscape, so intimately that you define and communicate a clear, differentiated, defensible, and monetizable message and market position.
• Product Features & Benefits: Determine the key benefits of the product and create messaging that clearly articulates its value proposition. Describe how our product works and how it is helpful or better than other solutions.
• Liaison with Product Team: Serve as a messenger, relaying product feedback and making sure products and features are marketed.
• Liaison with Customer Facing Teams (Sales, Customer Success, Support): Ensure other customer-facing teams are using consistent language to describe the product and its benefits.
• Competitive Analysis: Maintain a side-by-side comparison of features and messaging to stay on top of market trends and identify opportunities for differentiation.
