JOB SUMMARY
The Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing repaired vehicles for refinishing and assisting Paint Technicians’ with their work. Duties include sanding, masking, priming vehicle parts and keeping Paint Technicians aware of work progress. Must adhere to safety/OSHA guidelines and use required safety protection.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist Paint Technician by preparing vehicles and parts for painting using proper techniques, equipment and materials.
• Remove grease, dirt, paint, or rust from vehicle surfaces in preparation for paint application.
• Apply paper and masking tape to protect non-painted surfaces (windows, bumpers, trim, etc.).
• Works with paint team to keep all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
• Maintain all tools and equipment, keep workspace clean and organized.
• Ensure paint area (prep station, paint booth, etc.) and paint mix/storage rooms are clean and all refinish products are stored as directed.
• May help with general maintenance of paint booths.
• Utilize all required safety equipment and follow proper refinishing procedures in compliance with OSHA safety guidelines. Wear and use required safety equipment (respirator, eye and skin protectors), handle and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
• Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Prior automotive painting and refinishing process experience required.
• Prior paint-prep experience preferred – sanding, masking, prepping and blending.
• High School diploma/GED preferred. Collision tech graduate preferred.
• Knowledge of auto manufacturers’ repair/refinishing processes.
• Ability to receive direction and work well with others.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Essential physical requirements include:
• Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, squat, kneel and pulling
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)

Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport, a NASCAR motorsports operation is seeking a qualified, part-time Transport Co-Driver. Our transport drivers are expected to represent the company in a professional manner at all times while working on the road and in the shop. As a transport driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting cars and associated equipment... tools and materials to and from race and/or test venues for race related events. This position requires fluctuating weekend work based on event schedules. When not driving for race or test events, our transport drivers work in the shop preparing the transporter and equipment for upcoming events.
Responsibilities:
• Loading and unloading of the transporter.
• Maintain cleaniliness and general presentation of the transporter for the team and guests.
• Follow all applicable DOT, DMV, State and Federal highway safety rules and regulations.
• Meet shcedules, timelines and deadlines appropriatley and safely.
• Ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
• Complete all logs and records in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
• Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Must provide or be able to obtail a current Medical Examiner's Safety Certificate.
• Must have a clean driving record and satisfactory background check.
• Must have a professional and presentable work ethic.
• Professional motorsports experience is preferred; will consider other driving experience such as car hauler driving.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs independently.
• Must be able to maneuver inside the tight confinements of the transporter.
• Must be able to sustain 10 or more hours consecutive time on your feet.
• Must be able to work the complete race and test schedule; weekend work is required.
• Must be able to work in the shop when not driving OTR; no fly-in work available.

Requirements:
• Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Must provide or be able to obtail a current Medical Examiner's Safety Certificate.
• Must have a clean driving record and satisfactory background check.
• Must have a professional and presentable work ethic.
• Professional motorsports experience is preferred; will consider other driving experience such as car hauler driving.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs independently.
• Must be able to maneuver inside the tight confinements of the transporter.
• Must be able to sustain 10 or more hours consecutive time on your feet.
• Must be able to work the complete race and test schedule; weekend work is required.
• Must be able to work in the shop when not driving OTR; no fly-in work available.

• Read and analyze charts, schedules, and other records and reports, in order to determine race events and requirements and to evaluate needed adjustments recommended by the Driver and Crew Chief.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Responsible for enforcing safety regulations in the shop and at the track.
