The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and managing Awin's and ShareASale's advertising, acquisition and events strategy, to drive qualified leads into the Sales function of the business. This role will have a strong focus on increasing Awin's and ShareASale's brand presence and positioning through multiple marketing channels including PR, content, sponsorship... events and social media promotion.

As a key member of the Global Marketing team, this role will report to the Global Marketing Lead and work closely with stakeholders across the US Sales, Product, Client Services and global Marketing functions to ensure consistency across all marketing activities and strategic alignment with US business goals.

Key Tasks
• Support US stakeholders to proactively plan content, and execute local marketing initiatives in line with US business objectives and aligned to global business goals
• Work closely with New Business team to research, plan and execute new marketing opportunities across events, content and lead acquisition aimed at business growth
• Proactively develop and execute short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads into the sales pipeline, as well as manage A/B testing strategies and execution across all channels
• Assist in content development to target ecommerce SMEs incl. new launches, client spotlights, sector reports, product updates, and more.
• Close collaboration and alignment with Demand Gen on content, paid placements, and events, to deliver ongoing nurture campaigns via email automation and adapting content to specific customer segments in order to drive conversion from prospect to opportunity.
• Develop and execute innovative and robust customer retention strategy to grow customer numbers and volume.
• Monitor Google Adwords performance and SEA strategy
• Monitor social media accounts and execute organic and paid social campaigns or posts
• Take ownership of the ShareASale crisis communications plan and assist with the Awin crisis communications plan
• Oversee edits and propose updates to the ShareASale website aimed at optimising conversion rate
• Manage collateral and Ad Hoc marketing requests, including PowerPoint presentations, email marketing, one pagers, etc
• Manage proposals for speaking engagements, event sponsorships and attendance, as well as award submissions
• Oversee and manage proposals for paid placements and advertorials, and work with our US PR agency to execute a strong strategy in support of business goals
• While the above is a guide to general expectations of the role, we expect this position to be flexible and evolve allowing you greater scope to gain both knowledge and experience within the online and affiliate market place.
Experience
• 5+ years' relevant marketing experience running cross channel digital campaigns that drive results
• Experience nurturing leads from first touch through to sales handover using email automation
• Track record of combining creative ideas with data-driven content
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt messaging to the reader
• Experience managing and reporting on SEO/SEM activity
• Experience with database marketing/direct communications
• Manage a corporate social media account with an accurate and strategic approach
• Ability to report on all communications activity with precision and confidence
• Experience working with sales, client management, product and content creation
• Affiliate industry and network knowledge a bonus
Personal Skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and confident communicator
• Strong collaborator with the ability to work in partnership across various departments within the organization
• A proactive attitude to developing and delivering on the marketing strategy is key
• Remains calm under pressure and can manage multiple tasks at once
