Summary:

Primary Job Duties:
• Works cooperatively to execute the high standards of Arizona Cardinals meal services
• Maintain an A grade level cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
• Conduct general kitchen cleanliness and organization as directed
• Conduct cleaning of dishware, plasticware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. utilizing the industrial dishwasher or by hand, when necessary
• Organize all clean dishware and distribute to appropriate cook line/other storage areas
• Follow procedures for serving food, as well as rotating and storing food within coolers, freezers, dry storage, etc. utilizing a FIFO-approach (including labeling, dating, rotating, and screening products to meet food safety and organizational standards.)
• Adhere to guidelines for discarding or returning products that do not meet organizational standards
• Communicates with supervisor when dish machine falls below safety standard temperatures
• Reports breakages, cleaning supply inventory and other issues to direct supervisor
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Participate with preparation of training camp meal operations at off-site locations

Background

Insignia Event Services is a newly created business unit affiliated with the Arizona Cardinals, tasked with producing all events at State Farm Stadium including all Arizona Cardinals games. In addition to Arizona Cardinals games, Insignia Event Services exclusively manages Sportsman's Park (SP). Sportsman's Park has been a site for pre-game festivities, tailgating, concerts, festivals, weddings, graduations, corporate events, and other related experiences. The three pillars of Insignia's current revenue are events at Sportsman's Park, parking operations for the lots around State Farm Stadium, and creative production of events (i.e., the production team for the Cardinals' home games work for Insignia Events).

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Production, the Sr. Broadcast Engineer will supervise a team of technicians and engineers and assist in the maintenance, design, repair and overall management of all installed and portable production equipment, and transmission and distribution systems.

Primary Job Duties
• Maintain and support installed scoreboard, audio and video production, network and signal distribution systems.
• Responsible for maintenance, cleaning, repair, monitoring, upgrade and documentation of all audio, video, computer, communication and control systems.
• Responsible for all IPTV and RF systems including all TV's, monitors and projectors. Also includes satellite, cable, fiber and all input/output transmission equipment.
• Maintain and support Daktronics scoring, display and production systems including maintenance, cleaning, repair, monitoring, upgrade and documentation of all Daktronics systems. Systems include, Vlink, Venus, Allsport, ProStar, ProAd, Show Control, Stats Networks and related equipment. Regular cleaning and preventative maintenance routines are required.
• Provide event and production engineering and technical support and management as assigned for all event and game presentations.
• Conduct computer, database, server network and storage device maintenance, cleaning, repair, monitoring, configuration, updates and documentation of all systems is required. Includes, but not limited to COBRA network, SAN, edit/production computers, scoring and display systems, RF and IPTV systems and attached devices.
• Ensuring all systems/software is documented in a consistent and accurate manner. All problem resolution must be logged for future reference. Coordination and cooperation with the IT department and the Scoreboard Audio Department is required.
• Maintain ENG and broadcast wiring infrastructure and provide event support. Advance maintenance, cleaning, repair, upgrade and documentation of all broadcast systems, wiring and infrastructure. Facilitate connections to broadcast and news trucks.
• Maintains systems at the Arizona Cardinals Dignity Health Training Facility, State Farm Stadium, Craft Culinary facilities and other sites as assigned.
• Develop event space engineering support design and supervise the installation of A/V support equipment and structures both permanent and temporary.
• Provide project management including research, planning, budgeting, scheduling, documentation, installation and inspection.
• Oversees the cleaning, repair, inspection, and maintenance of portable production equipment including video transmission, network communications and production support equipment.
• Responsible for overall operation of the Engineering Department including the supervision of technicians, engineers and contractors along with design, planning, problem solving, resource allocation, testing, scheduling workflow, anticipating needs and problems and a general knowledge and ability to operate all equipment.
• Organization and maintenance of all drawing, manuals and documentation. Includes creation and display of single-line drawings and compete system documentation and labeling.
• Maintain repair parts, tools and supplies including cables and connectors. Maintains control room and other related structures such as lighting, electrical, communication, paint, environmental and equipment support structures utilizing SMG freelance and other vendors as needed.
• Conducts research, pricing, ordering, inventory, storage and documentation activities.
• Manages and leads a team of employees. Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team. Ensures that supervised employees understand and follow rules and policies as defined in the Employee Manual. Motivates team members and assesses performance.
• Provides help to management, including but not limited to hiring, training, development, performance evaluations, justification materials, budget and efficiency analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent experience in related field required.
• Five+ year experience in team leadership, engineering, business communication and productivity tools, IT networking, live event and video production systems design, maintenance and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Maestro, Vista Link, Magnum and Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a high proficiency with Mac and PC operating systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a high stress, fast-paced, live production work environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated.
• Possess a track record of delivering successful programs and projects on time and on budget.
• Must be creative, innovative, passionate, results oriented with a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to walk and/or stand on feet for long periods of time (8+ hours).
