We are looking for a hard-working, technically savvy, creative and analytical individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager. This role will manage an active online community centered on trust, professional development and relationship building. Our current team consists of 15 creative marketers specializing in growth, social, demand gen, email, design, and conversion rate optimization. We value innovation and experimentation in a supportive, democratic, open, and respectful environment.

In this position, you will leverage a deep understanding of our audience across all social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, to grow our online community and establish brand awareness among new audiences. The role of the social media manager is to strategically ideate and execute timely, engaging, platform-specific, and high-quality content consistent with Backstage’s voice. You must be able to identify social trends and use data-driven insights to grow our channels with a strong grasp on cultural movements.

You will also lead all Backstage subsidiary brands on strategy and content ideation across all of their social channels, ensuring a healthy brand portfolio.

The Social Media Manager will report to Backstage’s CMO.

What You’ll Do:
• Drive growth of qualified traffic and brand awareness from organic social postings across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube for Backstage, Mandy, and StarNow
• Create platform, audience, and content strategy for all channels
• Manage Social Media Associate and facilitate their career development
• Own social asset production workflow across all channels
• Oversee the scheduling of high volume of daily content across social channels to drive engagement, clicks, and conversions
• Manage outside talent to conceptualize, build, and finalize engaging short-form video content production for distribution across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Engage with Backstage community on social media and drive meaningful conversations around the Backstage brand
• Ad hoc consulting on social media strategy for our other brands, including Coverfly, FilmFreeway, Final Draft, and ShareGrid as needed
• Track KPIs across social media channels and roll into regular reports for marketing and content team
• Grow Backstage’s social footprint in new communities and audiences across multiple platforms
• Manage online reputation management activities across major social channels and online communities

What we're looking for from you:
• 3+ years of managing a global brand or organization’s social media platforms, or equivalent agency experience
• Expert understanding of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
• Proven record of growth that has impacted your prior organization’s bottom line
• Proficiency in analyzing and identifying trends in social data utilizing programs such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Insights, and Iconosquare
• Experience creating and executing both static and dynamic posts on content scheduling systems that yield high engagement across social channels
• A strong grasp on cultural movements and trends and how they impact social media; current on trends, apps, social platform updates, and devices—and always looking for new ways to grow
• Experience conceptualizing, iterating and testing new forms of content or posts to drive performance
• Outstanding writing/editing skills, with the ability to transform your writing style into the voice of the Backstage brand
• Management or supervisory experience
• A self-starter who is able to balance many tasks from multiple departments

• * The base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. Job Functions: In partnership with the venue Production Manager, the Backstage Coordinator is responsible for administering various Live Nation and venue designed programs to support local production & touring personnel. The Backstage Coordinator will maintain back of house hospitality expectations & backstage division-wide goals. The Backstage Coordinator will meet & greet the tours upon arrival to the venue and be available to assign dressing rooms and is the point of contact for all hospitality needs. Will be the backstage brand ambassador and the face of the service culture program. Responsible for completing the Post Event Service Recap and analyze other venue service reports to create action plans for service improvements in partnership with the Artist Services team & Production Manager. Research best practices and collaborate with the Artist Services team & Venue Production Manager to develop venue opportunities to increase engagement, increase Artist/Crew satisfaction. Work with Production Teams to help facilitate advances. Pre and post show walk through with checklist to make ready all backstage Artist & Touring crew areas and notate any damage to be repairs. In coordination with the General and Production Managers, co-manage any applicable backstage program budget and process vendor invoices. Will act as the lead in maintaining metrics and sharing information with the Artist Services Team, tracking historic data on Tours & details regarding Artist choices/favorites and manage the backstage tour personnel survey and competition rate for your venue. On-board new union hires through Workday. Provide information and answer employee questions regarding payroll matters. Coordinate with HR department to ensure correct employee information. Ensure correct union benefits are being paid Meet payroll deadlines for bi-weekly union payroll. Partner with the venue’s Production Manager, Artist Services team and LN Tour rep to create memorable, hospitality-minded moments at every show, including but not limited to birthdays and special celebrations. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Qualifications: Must be able to maintain composure around high profile artists/guests and work in an often hectic and loud environment. The Role

To support us on this exciting journey we are looking for an experienced Programme Director to join our team. The postholder will play a leading role in supporting the establishment of Backstage Academy, USA. We would like to hear from candidates who have exceptional organisational skills, are able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects and who have expertise in the Live Events Industry and/or employer led Higher Education.

The Programme Director has an important contribution to make to the success of the Academy and its students. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with colleagues in academic and professional areas on several different workstreams including estates, accreditation, curriculum development and employer engagement. The postholder will oversee the day to day running of the USA Campus and can therefore expect significant management responsibilities delegated to them.

The Programme Director will provide strategic and inspirational leadership for our work in international recruitment and partnership development, as well as developing external industry opportunities in the US.

Main Responsibilities:

Management
• To advocate Backstage Academy’s values, culture and educational ethos and promote these through everyday practice in the role.
• With the Head of Institution (Backstage Academy UK), Provost (PCAD) the Programme Director forms part of the senior team and can therefore expect significant management responsibilities related to the management of the Academy to be delegated to them.
• Represent the Academy externally to stakeholders, industry partners and funding agencies
• Create and maintain effective communication channels with staff at PCAD, including through the holding of regular meetings.
• Ensure that all activities of the team meet the agreed budget and that financial risks are actively managed.

Team Management
• To promote and ensure excellent, innovative, and inspiring teaching, including the effective use of peer collaboration and feedback; professional induction, training, and development; module and course evaluation; dissemination of good practice; encouragement of innovation; and systems for recognizing and rewarding excellent teaching.
• To line manage, support, and develop academic colleagues as appropriate.
• Oversee the recruitment, induction, development, and performance management of staff, as appropriate.
• Provide staff with on-going support and guidance about programme goals, curriculum, materials, and methodology.
• Ensure teaching staff follow best pedagogical practice and adhere to agreed principles of learning and teaching within the Academy.
• Promote a collaborative working environment to maintain and enhance the quality of the student learning experience and the overall teaching-learning environment.
• Be responsible for delivering on academic policy, priorities, and objectives.
• Contribute to the planning and scheduling of the classes in an appropriate and cost-effective manner

Programme Delivery and Quality Assurance
• Develop, lead and co-ordinate the Academy’s programmes and academic resources (including curriculum review process, timetabling, assessments, and tutor recruitment/deployment) with an understanding of the Academy’s commercial targets, the maximising of student continuation to Backstage Academy’s courses and optimum student satisfaction levels.
• Teach up to 10 hours a week
• Collaborate with the wider PCAD administration on internal reviews, validation, and accreditation processes.
• To be proactive in designing and delivering innovative, creative, and research-informed course design and in evaluating their effectiveness.

Resources
• Lead the team in the writing of module outlines, teaching materials, assignments, and summative assessments
• Encourage the development and use of the VLE and other learning technologies.
• Ensure all necessary academic texts, handbooks and teaching materials are produced, procured, updated, catalogued, and securely maintained.
• Lead the development of new academic programmes in line with market needs.

Students
• Liaise with the wider PCAD administrative team on the student disciplinary procedures and their implementation.
• Develop and implement a strategy to support progression and ensure that students are adequately prepared to enter employment in the entertainment industry.
• Monitor student progress and the identification of those who are struggling so that they can be offered support as quickly and effectively as possible.
• Ensure that appropriate guidance and support is given to students regarding their academic and progression choices.
• Develop and monitor effective systems to ensure student feedback is central to review processes.

Assessment
• Working with the wider PCAD Administrative team, be responsible for the overall co-ordination of assessments scheduling, invigilation, exam/test assessments and the production of academic reports and ensure these are delivered in the most effective and efficient way to the required quality standards.
• Contribute to Assessment Boards as required.

Additional
• Provide the Executive Advisory Board with advice on all academic matters considering commercial imperatives and financial targets.
• Use management information effectively to contribute to the continuous improvement of academic systems and processes.
• Contribute to the formulation of the annual budget and the regulation of expenditure in the Academy.
• Maintain good relationships with Backstage Academy UK and PCAD colleagues and liaise with all relevant stakeholders in relation to all academic issues.
• To comply with all legislative, regulatory and policy requirements (e.g., Finance, HR, Health & Safety, Environmental Sustainability) as appropriate
• To demonstrate value and importance of equality and diversity in every aspect of Backstage Academy USA’s work, and show commitment through everyday practice in the role

Person Specification:
• We are looking for an enthusiastic, new staff member with a “can do attitude” to join the exciting and rapidly expanding team at Backstage Academy.
• You will be experienced leader who has a sound understanding of the Live events and creative industries.
• You will have a track record of delivering significant programmes, at a senior level, project management and managing a portfolio of multiple fast-paced and complex projects, preferably in higher education.
• Capability to manage relationships at senior level, and the ability to influence professional and academic colleagues, managing teams with diverse areas of expertise.
• Excellent leadership competences, encompassing innovation, delivery, team development and change management

The role is based in Lititz, PA and would ideally suit someone who is already based in the USA or prepared to relocate.

About the Role:

We are looking for an eager creative intern that has a background in video or photo and an interest in planning and production for the ads you see every day on social media. You will learn all the steps behind casting and remote content creation for brands big and small. There are also opportunities to learn the basics of production design, art direction, wardrobe and prop styling. We work across a wide variety of industries and the position requires you to be able to think on your feet and adapt to each client’s needs. Internship Position Details:

Position Title: Video Production Intern (College Credit)

Internship Term: Summer 2023

Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]

Hours Desired: 15-20 hours per week

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with producers to find the right talent for remote productions
• Draft and post casting calls on online platforms such as Backstage, Casting Networks, Facebook and Craigslist
• Utilize platforms such as Boast.io, Billo, TikTok Creator Marketplace, social media outreach and our internal database to cast content creators
• Act as liaison between talent and production stakeholders
• Communicate between content creators and producers to make sure the right footage is produced on time for each ad set
• Collect, organize and maintain talent paperwork and releases in our database
• Collect reviews and data from directors and producers to keep track of how well talent performs and how they influence the effectiveness of the content they’re featured in

Skills/Requirements:
• Some knowledge of the casting and remote content creation process
• Basic knowledge of contracts
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work 2-3 days a week online
• Must be enrolled in college course to take internship for credit
