Daily tasks and schedule will vary, so candidates should be very proactive and able to easily shift between different roles.
Qualifications: At least 2 years professional culinary experience, ability to work on a team and independently, comfortable working around children, fully vaccinated, at least 3 verifiable references.
Schedule: This would be part-time to start. Hours could increase for the right person. Ideally, work schedule would be 3 days a week, 6 hour shifts. We will make the schedule work for the right person.

Candidates must be highly creative, forward-thinking and proactive, experienced in social media and SEO, and able to assist in pursuing brand partnerships, capturing and editing video content, and implementing marketing strategies. You will be responsible for:
• Scheduling all social media content across channels. This includes Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You should be well skilled in keyword research for Pinterest, and be able to continue to grow these channels, increase reader engagement, and drive traffic to the baker by nature website.
• Capturing and editing video content (and occasionally, photo content) for Instagram stories and TikTok. You do not need to be a professional videographer or photographer, but should be well versed in iPhone videography and capturing this sort of content, as well as editing it in an engaging way. Examples of this will be required, so if you have them, please send them with your application.
• Reaching out to brands to engage conversation and pursue brand partnerships.
• Help promote the Baker by Nature cookbook and handle all customer service in regards to that.

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will have ownership over holistically managing EmPower Solar’s social media program.
• Strategy: develop and manage all social media content with organic posts. if you have experience with ads, this is something we can discuss once you're in the role.
• Creative creation: create visually appealing social media posts (photos, videos, and graphics) for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest (fresh pins are essential), and TikTok, with captivating captions and relevant hashtags. If you do not have experience with this, please do not apply. This is the bread and butter of the position.
• Community management: build meaningful connections with existing followers and potential brand partners and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
General marketing duties also apply.
• Branding: ensure consistent branding across all media and collateral.

HOURS, COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
This is a full-time position. Candidate should be open to committing extra hours when necessary for special events or time-sensitive tasks, etc. The typical day is 8-9 work hours. This will be a hybrid work situation, meaning some days you will work from home, and other days you will work with Ashley in the office. On the days you work in office, a one-hour lunch break will be provided. As well as two 20-minute breaks throughout the day.
Employee will be salaried for a starting annual compensation range of $55k to $60k, commensurate with experience. Salary will be increased with time and strong performance. Annual bonus will be considered for strong performance.
