Conducts basic brief screening and coordinates appropriate intervention that is safe, timely, effective, equitable, and patient centered. Intervention referrals will be made to brief intervention for alcohol use, residential, our outpatient treatment, to be determined by the multidisciplinary intervention team, and with patient’s consent. Maintains documentation of screening, referrals, and follow up, while maintaining patient’s rights, confidentially, and UMC’s Environment of CARE Standards.
