Now is an amazing opportunity to join Erste Digital in its mission to transform the banking services in Austria and eastern European countries. We are looking for someone who is smart, savvy, and seriously good at translating business requirements into technical concepts e.g. by designing great REST APIs and business workflows. You are organized, a natural communicator, and can bring people together to create shared understanding. Consistency and clarity are important for you and you strive to always get better in it.
In this role, you will:
support the team in the analysis of technical requirements in cooperation with business partners.
define technical software requirement specifications and review functional designs regarding solution architecture, future business needs and operations.
create a common understanding of business requirements, design solutions that follow our best practices, with always keeping a clear end-customer focus in mind
work in a great team and with a diverse group of people such as other software engineers, data analysts, and decision-makers (e. g. product owners), to build solutions and gain novel insights.
work with tools like Jira for ticket management and actively contribute to Scrum or Kanban meetings and retrospectives.
What should you bring with you:
strong analytical thinking and a technical background, ideally with a completed technical degree.
experience in requirements engineering and with state-of-the-art technologies (Microservices, PaaS, SOA, APIs, …) and agile software delivery methods.
proven track-record working in the IT or similar area.
good communication skills in English and/or German (verbal and written).

Your profile:
Completed education in communications, social science, journalism, change management or a similar field
3+ years of experience developing change communication campaigns and managing communities (e.g., Yammer, facebook for business)
Strong interest in M365 tools
Excellent written and spoken German and English; knowledge of a CEE languages is an asset
Team spirit, ability to think outside the box, enthusiasm to be part of a project with impact and willingness to work in close cooperation with experts from other departments and external partners
