PASTOR: Victoria Baptist Church in Victoria, Virginia, is seeking a full-time pastor to guide us on our journey in Christian love. The church, established in 1907, has been a significant source of leadership and generosity in our small rural community. We seek a pastor who is adept at public speaking, is kind in nature, and is knowledgeable of the scriptures. We would also like him to be able to build genuine relationships with our members.

After losing many regular attendees during the COVID pandemic, we have nearly returned to our previous numbers. We currently have a large group of children in our midst and are working to strengthen our programming to support our children and youth. The worship service at Victoria Baptist Church is a combination of traditional worship with a modern flair. These services are broadcast live each week... helping us to minister to those not physically present.

Victoria Baptist Church engages with the local community by participating in various town-sponsored events. We operate a preschool program and some of our congregation assists with an after-hours Christian program in the elementary school next door. Members are active with the recreational sports teams and civic organizations in the community, many serving in various leadership roles throughout the county. We would like our preacher to also be an active part of the community, which will help us to better reach the lost and unchurched.
