**Who we are**
Kent Panthers, founded in 2019 by NBA draft pick Ryan Richards, Kent native and one of England's very few basketball players to get drafted to the NBA. We have competed in the National Basketball League (NBL) for 3 successful seasons at the age group of U12, U14, U16 and U18. We are the only basketball club in Kent that boasts a complete educational pathway where student can compete for the Panthers while studying from primary school

We are the only basketball club in Kent that boasts a complete educational pathway where student can compete for the Panthers while studying from primary school all the way to university.
• *The Role**
We are looking to appoint a Coach to support our Community and Development sessions in Dartford, Kent. The coach will be responsible for delivering basketball sessions in line with the clubs ethos. The role is ideal for an ambitious coach who wants the opportunity to develop and progress their coaching career.
• *Location**
The role will be based in Dartford, DA1 1RB, with preference of candidates that live locally or within good driving distance.
• *Responsibilities**
- To coach the Kent... Panthers community and development teams to a high level reasonably expected of a basketball coach of Basketball England level 1 or higher.
- To do everything necessary to develop and maintain the enthusiasm of each player.
- To work within the clubs philosophy and framework.
- To take a professional approach in the planning, preparation and organisation of the role as a Coach of the Panthers.
- To represent the club well inside and outside of the club, on social media, in the community and beyond.
- To build and maintain relationships with various partners in the community and within the club.
- To help support and develop other club colleagues and coaches.
- To be flexible with working hours, including unsocial hours, and prepared to work at weekends as required.
Qualifications
There is no coaching badge required but must be willing to obtain Level 1. Good level of IT literacy (word/pages processing, emails, spreadsheet etc).
