Baylor Law seeks an adjunct lecturer to teach a section of the LARC 5 course, a course that focuses on litigation drafting. The candidate should have experience in litigation drafting, including drafting a variety of different pleadings, trial motions, and similar work product.
The Law School welcomes expressions of interest, especially from candidates who will add to the diversity of our faculty. Remote teaching may be a possibility.
Candidates must possess a juris doctor. You will be asked to provide a letter of interest; curriculum vitae; transcripts, a list of three references in the application process, and two writing samples demonstrating the candidate’s writing style. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in the broad areas of Biophysics, Biochemistry, Computational Biology including Bioinformatics, Chemical Biology, Genetics, Structural Biology, and Molecular/Cellular Biology. The successful candidate will be expected to continue building upon a strong track record of interdisciplinary research, scholarly productivity, and a demonstrated ability to secure significant federal funding. Qualifications
Candidates must possess an earned Juris Doctor and evidence of strong academic or advocacy performance in law school, such as a noteworthy ranking or GPA, earned law review membership, or advocacy involvement. Success with law school competition teams as either a competitor or coach is strongly preferred. Candidates will be asked to provide a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, transcripts, and a list of three references in the application.
