Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director of Gift Planning, the
Assistant Director of Gift Planning is responsible for the management and
operations for all estate, life income gifts, gifts-in-kind and all complex
gifts, as well as other key operational functions for the Office of Gift
Planning. This individual serves as the main point of contact for the
University for all executors, trustees, and other fiduciaries of estates. The
Assistant Director also manages the administration, monitoring and tracking of
all active and deferred planned gifts. The Assistant Director confers with and
makes recommendations to the Executive Director of Gift Planning, and
communicates as needed with departments and units throughout BC, to determine
the proper allocation and distribution of funds from estates, and other planned
gifts.

The Assistant Director will also manage, in coordination
with the Executive Director, any projects that will help to identify, cultivate,
and build the BC planned giving prospect pipeline, as well as help to manage
the stewardship and growth of the Shaw Society (currently at 3,300+ members)
via new pipeline identification projects. The Assistant Director will also work
closely with Executive Director on marketing efforts and will also work on or
manage other projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $59,550 to $74,450;
salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree a minimum one to three
years of professional level experience in higher education or a minimum of two
years professional experience in a relatable area, preferably in planned
giving, legal or finance. This position requires superior communication
skills—both in writing and orally, and the ability to communicate effectively
to such diverse audiences as estate representatives, advisors, faculty, staff,
and current and prospective donors. Must be able to work independently and
manage multiple projects, setting deadlines and ensuring program
accountability. Must be highly competent in MS Excel and be able manage, track,
and analyze data. Also able to maintain confidentiality of frequently sensitive
information. A familiarity with planned giving software, PGM is desirable. Must
be knowledgeable in MSWord, and, Google Docs, and comfortable with CRM software
applications. Occasional evening and
weekend event work.

to the goals of advancing higher education and have an appreciation for Jesuit

Job Description

This is a full time position reporting to the Head Coach of the Women's Cross Country/Track and Field program.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Supporting the Head Coach in assisting with all recruiting and fund raising activities, coordination and timely submission of all recruiting logs, telephone logs, and play/practice logs, and transportation of student-athletes to local practices and competitions. Preferred coaching background working with sprints, hurdles and all vertical and horizontal jumping events.
Applicant will need to have the ability to recruit at a high academic and athletic level those prospective student-athletes that meet the admissions requirements at Boston College.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $51,350 to $64,200; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two-three years successful coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Expertise in technical aspect of sport.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with college student athletes, athletic staff, University personnel and Alumni.
• Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite and File Maker Pro.
• This position will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC and Institutional rules.

Preferred:
• Master's degree preferred.
