A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Andy Groves at Baylor College of Medicine to study the regeneration of the mammalian inner ear. Our lab has recently shown we can drive hair cell regeneration in the cochlea using transcription factor reprogramming (Iyer et al., 2022; elifesciences.org/articles/79712). A variety of projects are available to expand on these findings, such as understanding the transcriptional and epigenetic mechanisms

• Promote organizational and interdisciplinary collaboration among BCM programs and units that will enhance inclusive excellence.

• Facilitate access to counseling, wellness, mediation, and conflict resolution programs and resources regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion related issues for students, residents, faculty, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications
• MD, DO, PhD or MD PhD with academic and or administrative experience as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and work on a team.

Our residency program, which started in 2010, has grown to 16 residents per year in a 3-year format. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: M.D. degree or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience in an academic area of expertise strongly preferred but not required
