What you’ll be expected to handle...
• Strategic Planning
• Partner with senior executives to develop, communicate & implement BU’s current and long term strategic plans. Align strategies with Studio priorities.
• Develop business plans, including competitive assessment, estimated ROI, risks & opportunities, performance metrics, resource needs and impact on internal processes. Ensure that business unit resource plans are aligned with strategic direction and optimize return on investment.
• Examples include: New lines of business, market entry strategies, business model paradigms, strategic alliances, acquisitions, business combinations, and cost savings initiatives, etc.
• Direct & oversee delivery of strategic & business plans to DCE and Studio senior executives.
• Financial Planning
• Direct the development and consolidation of the BU’s worldwide financial plans, including: Long range plans, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash & capital budgets. Partner with key BU departments to develop sales estimates and cost assumptions.
• Lead the revision of forecasts based on actuals and changes in the business landscape.
• Present financial plans and detailed analysis of plan assumptions to BU and Corporate Finance Management.
• Financial Close and BU Management Reporting
• Direct the consolidation of the BU’s worldwide financial results for reporting to Studio and DCE senior executives. Design and develop management reports.
• Design and oversea the financial close & reporting process within DCE, and interaction with other business units and corporate services providers based on Corporate Finance guidelines and accountability requirements.
• Evaluate & report actual BU performance against financial plans. Explain variances to budgets and partner with BU senior executives to develop plan to achieve divisional profit goals.
• Business Decision Support
• Develop analyses to support business activities for BU senior executives, including sales performance, market / industry analyses and project greenlights
• Oversee process to manage ad hoc and ongoing analyses by DCE Business Strategy & Finance team
• Business Process & Systems Improvements
• Lead process improvement initiatives that intersect across multiple DCE departments. Business unit advisor on all technology systems initiatives. Ensure alignment with DCE strategic initiatives
• Other special projects as required.

What we need from you:
• BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting or related field required.
• MBA and/or CPA required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic planning, finance, or accounting required.
• Big 4 public accounting or comparable consulting firm experience required.
• Experience with accounting, tax and business issues required.
• Entertainment and/or publishing industry experience preferred.
• Experience with strategic and business planning.
• Successful track record managing and developing staff.
• Effective and proven analytical & presentation skills.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting & finance principles.
• Experience with process and workflow studies.
• Financial Systems Skills: ERP (SAP or Oracle) experience required.

Business Continuity Plan Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Role will provide experienced and professional support for the implementation and maturation of a comprehensive Business Continuity program for Zions Bancorporation.

Support the implementation of business continuity program strategy, methodology and objectives through successful execution of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), BC plan development, and testing, consistent with regulatory expectations.

Ideal candidate will help implement a robust business continuity framework to ensure consistent and superior program execution across the enterprise.

Support the implementation of BC policies, standards, and procedures as part of the overall governance framework to ensure that the program is implemented in accordance with internal policies and standards, and that regulatory expectations for control, monitoring and reporting of risk are satisfied.

Design, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive business continuity plans, ensuring all critical functions and processes are accounted for. Your strategic approach will be crucial in mitigating potential risks and minimizing the impact of any disruptions.

Organize and execute regular testing and validation of business continuity plans to verify their effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in interpreting test results and fine-tuning strategies accordingly.

Collaborate closely with various departments, including IT, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure alignment and seamless integration of business continuity plans. Your ability to foster a culture of preparedness will be instrumental in fostering a unified approach to resilience.

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management & Business Continuity, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.

An advanced degree or professional certifications in Business Continuity Management would be advantageous.

6+ year experience in business continuity planning, emergency and incident planning and analysis, concepts and methodology.

Proven experience as a Business Continuity Manager in the financial services industry, with a track record of successfully implementing and managing continuity plans.

Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, crisis management protocols, and regulatory requirements specific to the banking sector.

Knowledge of banking operations a plus.

Expert knowledge of business continuity planning, emergency and incident planning, analysis, concepts, methodology and regulatory requirements.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.

Analytical and problem-solving prowess, with the capacity to think critically and adapt strategies to evolving circumstances.

• 2 years’ experience conducting risk and controls assessments per NIST 800-53, Rev.4 and Rev 5.
• 1 year’s experience interpreting vulnerability scan results.

Preferred:
• 1 year’s experience prior professional services or federal consulting experience
