We are hiring a Customer Experience Specialist who will engage existing and potential consumer-grade customers in pre-sales & post-sales support. This role has a unique mix of problem-solving, product knowledge, technical support, and brand development that all center on friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable customer service. This role includes inbound and outbound communication with our customers via phone, email, and video support calls.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive service to the customer, and advise them on BenQ’s available services and products
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and video calls to resolve technical issues regarding BenQ products and customer service inquiries
• Open, close, and manage customer cases promptly according to internal metrics
• Ensure that the information regarding customer support requests is provided accurately and efficiently
• Maintain records of all transactions and interactions made with customers with detailed case notes
• Maintain contact with BenQ’s customers to ensure that their issues are efficiently and sufficiently resolved
• Data entry for RMA’s (Return to Manufacturer Agreements) for any product that needs to be shipped back to BenQ
• Partner with other internal departments to understand marketing themes, current hot topics, products, or brand messaging to communicate with customers effectively
• Handle all communications in an on-brand voice with the ability to understand that every response is public and can change the perception of BenQ – for better or worse

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Must be friendly, patient, and service-oriented even when under pressure
• Strong people skills and the ability to quickly diagnose problems and develop solutions with a positive attitude
• The ability to understand and comprehend new technology innovations and market them to new and existing customers
• Able to work and think quickly under pressure
• Proficient in using the latest versions of Microsoft Office / O365
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new tools and BenQ’s proprietary software
• PC and console gaming experience preferred, E-Sports knowledge is a plus
• Experience or interest in photography is a plus

Education:
• Associates degree and/or relevant work experience
• A+ certification or similar certification is a plus

• Identify, qualify, track, and manage the sales process and close opportunities (including channel partners) in education for BenQ Business and Education Solutions
• Build relationships and effectively demonstrate BenQ products and software to key decision-makers at the school district level and channel partner teams
• Publicize the BenQ name and raise its awareness and sales within the education arena, through the use of social media, national technology conferences, and clever marketing campaigns
• Host and/or attend various national education round table meetings to discuss technology direction for districts across the nation and to determine where district focus is being placed
• In collaboration with the Director of Business and Education Solutions, determine what the motivating factors are for dealers to have BenQ be the first projector, Interactive Flat Panel (IFP), or wireless presenter they consider
• Meet with key district or higher education personnel focused in location to promote the BenQ name and raise awareness
• Promote ease of use (Device agnostic) to connect any device to BenQ projectors and interactive flat panels. Show the education community that BenQ truly understands their needs through our education background and products
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with K-12 and Higher education customers and channel partners in the IT/AV space
• Proven track record integrating solutions such as projectors and/or interactive flat panels into education (3 Million +)
• Have a book of business and or contacts in the Education market
• Compelling demonstration skills to persuade end-users and resellers in converting leads into sales
• Familiarity with BenQ or competitive Product Lines
• IT knowledge: networking, BYOD, videocasting, Chromebook, Android, a plus
• Relationship builders with excellent interpersonal, effective oral and written communication, problem-solving, presentation skills are a must
• Strong team player who collaborates well with others to solve problems; flexible and adaptable, able to set strategy for internal and external communications
