Requirements
• Conduct alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions on a regular basis per state regulation, or as part of the individual treatment plan
• Conduct group counseling sessions as required
• Orient patients to the treatment program’s operation and procedures
• Maintain patient records that are complete, comprehensive and well organized
• Make appropriate referrals through case-management services
• Provide intake/readmission services, including several weeks of supportive follow-up counseling for new patients until their assignment to a primary counselor
• Provide crisis intervention/support services to patients

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Inspire hope that addiction is not a moral failing but a mental disease that can be overcome
• Provide evidence-based counseling, TCM and empowering crisis support services to patients to live their best lives
• Enliven compassionate care and empower patients to realize their best level of functioning in the community
• Employ an individualized and multidisciplinary approach to care with all medical staff, supporting the “shared” patient with hope, respect and care
• Help patients identify and seek treatment for underlying mental and physical health conditions that perpetuate addictive behavior with a focus on progress and recovery
• Work in close partnership with the recovery care team and clinical supervisor while conducting individual and group counseling sessions as required; make referrals to case management services as appropriate
• Orient patients to the treatment program’s services, operation and procedures; Provide intake/readmission services, including several weeks of supportive follow-up counseling for new patients until a primary counselor has been assigned
• Ensure patient records are up-to-date, accurate, complete and well-organized

Qualifications
• As per the requirements for your state, individuals with human service related (Masters or Bachelors) degrees and current counseling credentials should apply

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Greet all individuals entering the treatment center
• Maintain an organized waiting area
• Validate patient participation in program through checking identification
• Check and inform patient and key staff about the patient’s monetary status
• Collect and account for patient fees – Collect/request patient fees including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance
• Validate that each patient insurance currently eligible and currently authorized, if applicable
• Communicates status of eligibility and authorization to the patient
• Assists in resolving patient concerns
• Checks eligibility weekly and monthly using WayStar or Payer website.
• Maintain security of treatment center funds and provide financial reporting
• Assist patients in completing insurance forms for submission as needed
• Be able to efficiently use a computer
• Be able to perform daily accounting duties
• Complete weekly reports and email them to the RVP, the Regional Manager, Program Director and accounting department
• Be able to efficiently use the treatment center’s computer program for patient fee collection and financial accountability
• Send out monthly statements if applicable
• Filing for third party reimbursement (i.e. Medicaid) if applicable
• Perform general clerical work and filing
• Cover reception desk during dispensing hours. This includes answering phones, setting patient appointments, and scheduling intakes
• Admit and discharge patients from the Central Registry to include preparing and submitting state mandated Central Registry Reports following Program Director review and approval
• Assist Program Director with updating daily and monthly census forms
• Make copies for all team members as needed
• Make and maintain an adequate number of blank charts for intakes
• Assist Program Director in correcting patient/counselor caseload listings on a weekly basis or as needed
• Maintain inventory and order office supplies
• Run work-related errands as needed such as prepare and take mail to post office and/or deliver bank deposits when tasks are assigned
• Create and/or type documents, including letters and notices, as needed and requested
• Schedule patient appointments with the physician
• Advise Program Director of problems encountered with job duties and schedule, if applicable
• Maintain and help with a chart monitoring system
• Attend conferences, meetings and training programs as directed
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings prepared to discuss individual patient issues as related to the Administrative Support position duties
• Hold a basic understanding of alcohol/drug abuse and addiction
• Develop professional, helpful and effective relationships with patients
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and appropriate boundaries with patients
• Be able to function as a team member, working in conjunction with all other team members in a helpful, positive manner
• Be able to project a positive and professional image to the community, in representation of the Company
• Promotes and demonstrates excellent customer service
• Participate in and/or help perform, schedule, or attend monthly in-service trainings
• Help ensure the treatment center meets all accrediting body standards, and complete assigned activities in order to achieve this
• Perform Safety Officer responsibilities if assigned

• Meet BHG attendance standards and be present and ready for work at the beginning of their established work schedule
• Report any work-related injury or illness, or workplace hazards or security issues immediately to supervisor

Qualifications
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year experience as a general office clerk with basic math and accounting skills and previous cash handling experience
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Healthcare experience
• Front desk, admissions, billing, and/or collections experience

Qualifications

What You'll Do
• Review, analyze, and vet potentially nefarious loan applications as a part building/revamping the fraud program for an emerging leader in the lending space
• Recognize patterns of fraud and suggest new methods of detection, mitigation, and prevention
• Manage a high-volume fraud case queue, conducting complex investigations based on high-risk indicators for clearance on loan funding and other emerging aspects of the business.
• Identify document manipulation and forgery
• Connect patterns for underlying account associations to discover undetected fraud.
• Implement enhancements to existing processes and procedures, adjusting with needs as fraud tactics evolve
• Provide recommendations on case decisions based upon identification of inconsistencies and trends in fraud strategy output

What You'll Need
• 2+ years of Fraud experience in a lending environment, preferably online lender
• Experience with complex investigations that require evaluating open-source, internal, and dedicated third-party systems
• Ability to identify and differentiate fraud typologies, including but not limited to: 1st party, 3rd party, synthetic identities, credit mules, elder abuse
• Understanding of additional AML and KYC concerns in order to escalate to appropriate teams

Job Summary

The OTP Liaison position is responsible for outreach and MAT referral & education to all touch points where someone who needs help may be identified such as primary care practices, ERs, Detox/residential programs, pre-release, diversion, adult drug courts, housing agencies and other programs based on the community needs. The Community Liaison will work with the BHDDH staff to identify touch points and outreach to a minimum of three per week. OTP Liaison will perform duties within the scope of their license or certification which, when applicable, are an addendum to this job description.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions
• OTP Liaison will participate in weekly 30 min “Call to Action” calls with BHDDH staff to identify area trends and patterns of concern.
• Education received from the calls should then be disseminated to OTP staff on various subjects such as the number of area overdoses and any new drugs effecting the community or the state as a whole.
• Participate in data collection required by BHDDH to meet the evaluation requirements of the grant funding source.
• Submit monthly report to include progress toward implementation, barriers to implementation and how those barriers were addressed.
• Participate in quarterly provider meetings and calls convened by BHDDH or its subcontractor.
• 100% attendance at quarterly provider meetings and “Call to Action” calls held by BHHDH staff.
• A minimum of three new community-based organizations will be outreached to for educational purposes.
• A renewal of at least 4 community providers via a formal written agreement to demonstrate collaboration and/or integration of care.
• 90% attendance at the Governor’s Overdose Prevention & Intervention Task Force- Monthly Treatment Workgroup meetings.
• 50% attendance at the Governor’s Council on Behavioral Health monthly meetings.

Minimum Requirements

The OTP Liaison Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree; LCDP preferred.
